A mix of oldies but goodies and definitely something new

Love month is here, which means another season to go a little extra in showing love and affection towards the people we hold near and dear. Send gorgeous flowers to your S.O., write that awesome friend a note or take the family out for a nice pre- or post-Valentine’s meal. Out of ideas? Here’s a foolproof one for you: movie night at your place. Make it extra and dress up the living or add pillows and blankets to make a comfier couch. Pair it with a spread—small bites and snacks!—which you can make or have delivered (GrabFood anyone?). Now all you need to do is sit back, relax and choose from this list of Netflix shows to stream:

Narcos Season 2

Who says the list can’t be about drugs and desert executions? Narcos Season 2, coming to the streaming platform February 13, sees Diego Luna’s Guadalajara cartel leader looking to take over the global cocaine trade. And he’s willing to do whatever it takes, including screwing over the Colombians. “Now you’ll see what happens when the cage breaks open and all the animals run free.”

Center Stage

Here’s an oldie but a goodie: a dance movie from the 00’s about a self-trained dancer from the streets who makes her way into the most prestigious ballet academy in New York. No dance background required to enjoy. The story is about big dreams, overcoming challenges and finding love (and getting your heart broken) along the way.

Sex And The City 2

The sequel to one of the most successful novels-turned-series-turned-movie takes us on a fabulous trip to Abu Dhabi with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha. It’s a light and feel-good movie that’ll *hopefully* take your mind off your woes—at least for a while.

Locke & Key, based on the best-selling graphic novels, follows the story (and adventures!) of three siblings who move to the ancestral home of their father after he’s murdered. But the house is no ordinary home; in it are magical keys that give them powers and abilities beyond one’s imagination.

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You

It’s the sequel we’ve all been waiting for. The second installment reunites us with Lara Jean and Peter, who at this point have taken their relationship from pretend to official. Things are pretty smooth-sailing until another recipient of Lara Jean’s old love letters enters the picture. Hoping it will be always and forever for our favorite on-screen pair!
