Game Of Thrones Won’t Be Back Until Next Year; Here’s What To Watch In The Meantime

The new year may have just begun, but those of us who live for Game of Thrones are already itching for 2019 to roll around. The HBO hit has already been confirmed for a 2019 release, but with no official date set in stone, we’re in for a bit of a waiting game.


So what do you do until then? Obsess about other series, of course.

It’s the 18th century in North America and Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-Cree outlaw, is trying to stop the monopoly on fur trade currently held by the Hudson’s Bay Company. What ensues is not a cat and mouse chase, but a ruthless and exciting battle between a Goliath corporation and a David that refuses to back down—and has the strength to back it up.




It’s 1945 and former World War II nurse Claire Randall is in Scotland with her husband Frank. During a visit to the standing stones in Craigh na Dun, Claire suddenly finds herself caught in a battle between the redcoats and rebel Scottish Highlanders. Realizing that she has travelled back in time, she decides to try to stop the Battle of Culloden, which she knows is forthcoming. But on her journey, she starts to fall in love with a young Highlander, Jamie Fraser.

In the year 872, the Danes are invading the many kingdoms of what is now known as England. The kingdom of Wessex is defiant under the command of King Alfred. Uhtred, the son of a Saxon nobleman, is captured by the Danes and raised as one of their own. As he grows up, Uhtred must choose between the country of his birth and the people of his upbringing.
