A Bigger MUJI Store Has Opened in BGC—and It Serves Coffee

MUJI Central Square features the first MUJI Coffee in the Philippines

Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI, home to minimalist homeware, apparel, furniture, and stationery, now serves great coffee as well.

As it opens its newest store in the Philippines, located at Central Square in Bonifacio Global City, MUJI looks to introduce shoppers to a new experience: where they can peruse products across the sprawling 1,400-square meter space and enjoy brews at MUJI Coffee.

Being thrice the size of the original store in BGC, MUJI sees the added services in Central Square as an invitation for those in the area to slow down and, in turn, see this as quality time to revel in.

People are free to revisit the essentials and see how the day-to-day can be enriched by top-tier, everyday products at better prices. Here, MUJI introduces new features such as the Philippines’ first-ever MUJI Coffee; the biggest display of MUJI Walker activewear, Children’s Wear, and Innerwear; and the free MUJI Water Refilling Station for those who have reusable tumblers with them. Another new feature worth dropping in for is MUJI’s line of specialty products and services. This includes the MUJI Labo unisex clothing line, Open MUJI, and the free consultation services with the brand’s Interior, Styling and Experience Advisors.

Of the exciting features in the new store, of course, there’s MUJI Coffee to look forward to.

The quaint space, designed with MUJI’s aesthetic in mind and equipped with MUJI furniture, is where visitors can sit back and relax, work remotely, or meet up with friends and family. To keep them company: a classic lineup of coffee and tea beverages, paired with light snacks inspired by Japanese treats. In line with MUJI’s advocacy to conserve the environment, MUJI Coffee products, as with all other merchandise, come in sustainable or recyclable packaging.

Visit the new MUJI Central Square, located on the second floor of Central Square in Bonifacio High Street, corner of 5th Avenue and 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. In the Philippines, MUJI is also located at Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall at Rockwell, Shangri-La Plaza East Wing, and SM Mall of Asia. For more details visit or follow @muji_ph on Instagram.
