Fun Summer Activities According to Disney’s Phineas and Ferb
A gentle reminder from a cartoon that you need to live a little and have some fun
If you have kids or live with one or a brood, you’ve probably heard of Phineas and Ferb. It’s an animated musical TV series on two brothers as they go on everyday adventures with their friends and sometimes, their sister Candice and pet Perry the Platypus. You’re thinking, ‘Why would a grown adult watch a cartoon?’ Well, why not? The fun series is a reminder to adults that we need to live a little and have some fun.
Build a rocket…or something.
You could if you learned how to make one or work for NASA. But the point is: get a hobby. Learn to do or make something with your idle hands, like watercolor or cook a fancy meal. Trust us, the extra skill you’ll learn will make you feel better about yourself.
Climb the Eiffel Tower…or the nearest mountaintop.
If you have the budget, go for it! It is, after all, one of the most breathtaking sights that side of the world has to offer. Or you can always hike up one of our beautiful mountains if you’re still saving up. In any case, taking the time to appreciate magnificent structures or Mother Nature will do wonders for your state of mind—we promise!
Give a monkey…or even better, an elephant, a shower!
Interacting with wild animals—with proper supervision—is often an exhilarating experience. Instead of having your picture taken while holding a snake or bottle-feeding a tiger cub, why not get really close and personal, and give an elephant—not a monkey, unless you’re trained —a shower? Such wildlife experience is often offered in South East Asian countries like Thailand.
So as summer fast approaches, do as Phineas and Ferb, and find a good way to spend it!
