Hey, Kita Kita Movie Fans: Here’s How You Can Win A Free Trip To Japan with HOOQ
The winner gets to treat a friend or a loved one to a four-day vacation in Sapporo!
This month, HOOQ Philippines is giving subscribers more reasons to love streaming (and support local films, of course)! HOOQ’s "Kita Kita Tayo Sa Japan" promo is giving one lucky movie fan a chance to win a trip for two to Sapporo, Japan, the picturesque setting of the hit romantic comedy.
Who are eligible to join this promo?
All customer-paid HOOQ subscribers with valid passports are welcome to participate (note: Japan visa application cost will not be shouldered by HOOQ Philippines).
This is a nationwide contest, too, so even those residing outside Metro Manila are welcome to join. Do note, however, that if you are outside Metro Manila and selected as the winner in the electronic raffle draw, you will have to claim the prize in the HOOQ head office located at 16/F MDi Corporate Center, 10th Ave. corner 39th St., Taguig, 1639 Metro Manila. The money spent for your travels back and forth will not be shouldered by HOOQ Philippines.

Watch Kita Kita on HOOQ, fill out the entry form found here and click submit. Participants can only submit one entry per valid HOOQ account.
What exactly is up for grabs?
One lucky subscriber will win a 4-day, 3-night Japan getaway for two, which includes roundtrip plane tickets, economy class hotel accommodation and tours. The trip is valid for six (6) months.
When does the promo end?
Entrants have until 11.59PM on March 15, 2018, Thursday, to send in their entry forms.
How exciting! Where will the winner announcement be made?
The winner will be notified via email and registered mail on March 22, 2018. Here, details regarding the schedule of claiming will be stated.
The winner will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram through a content post on March 22, 2018 as well.
How will the winner claim the prize?
The winner can claim their prize at the HOOQ Head Office at 16/F MDi Corporate Center, 10th Ave. corner 39th St., Taguig, 1639 Metro Manila within 60 days from receipt of registered notice. The winner must present the following:
- One (1) valid ID with photo
- Valid passport (this should be valid within six months of the trip or more)
Unclaimed prizes within the specified duration to claim will be forfeited, upon prior approval of DTI.
About the Movie:
“Kita Kita (I See You) tells the story of Lea and Tonyo, two Filipinos living in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Lea is a Velo taxi tour guide. She suffers an accident which leads to her being affected by temporary blindness. Her blindness, if not cured in a few weeks, could become permanent. Tonyo is also a Filipino who lives right across from Lea. Lea tries her best to ignore him at first because she is scared of not seeing him. But Tonyo is persistent and is determined to be her friend, using humor and kindness to make a connection. With every effort that he makes the two gradually become closer. In an ironic way, becoming blind allows Lea to see the true character of Tonyo. This story is about perception and about how sometimes we can't see the real story behind a person. As Lea's story ends, we will see Tonyo's story begin.”
