There are 21 more days until Christmas, which means that there is just enough time to plan out something amazing. The holidays are an annual thing, yes, but that doesn’t mean the world has run out of ways to make it amazing. In actuality, there is so much happening around Metro Manila that the difficulty might be finding enough time for everything.

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding
Honestly, there’s no shortage of Christmas movies out there, but A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding is probably one of 2018’s most awaited sequels—at least of the season. Netflix’s prequel was the must-watch this time last year and The Royal Wedding belongs in anyone’s December binge watch list.
The movie follows the life of Richard and Amber after their whirlwind romance. The two are now set to be married with Richard securely in line to be the next King. It’s a fairytale waiting for its happy ending—that is, until Amber starts to second-guess whether or not she’s the right fit to be Queen.
Live Street jams
From 7pm – 10pm on December 14, 2018, some of our favorite Filipino acts will grace the stage at the Globe Iconic Bonifacio Highstreet Amphitheater. Get ready to sway, dance and sing your hearts out to the music of Karencitta, Pinopela, Rouge, Manila String Machine and IV of Spades. That’s a lot star and music power to pack into one night, but we’re making it happen—with free admission.

Pixar Playtown
If mixing Christmas, Disney and Pixar together doesn’t create magic, we don’t know what will.
This year, Bonifacio Global City is unboxing Christmas with some of our favorite films, characters and music in its Pixar Playtown, situated on High Street. You’ll be able to spot the 50-foot Christmas tree from afar, but this is only the beginning. Step into the Playtown and you’ll see life-size displays of Woody, Buzz, Sully, Mike Wazowski and Lightning McQueen.
The displays will wow you, but every thirty minutes from 6pm to 10pm, a lightshow of our favorite soundtracks provides an entirely new experience.
Lazada’s 12.12 sale
‘Tis the season to be shopping (but hopefully, not going bankrupt). The solution to that long list of parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, grandparents, friends and nieces/nephews? Lazada’s 12.12 sale.
This one is no joke—even Lazada is calling it their “biggest sale of the year.” Midnight vouchers are set to be released from 12MN to 7:59AM. From 8AM to 11:59PM, there will be hourly flash sales. Not only that, but hot deals per category and exclusive partner offers will also be popping up all day. That’s a check on Christmas shopping!
Magical Field of lights
Further down south, Nuvali is proving itself to be a near-enough-to-Metro-Manila attraction with its Magical Field of Lights. Up until January 13, 2019, head on over to The Fields, Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna for a literal walk down a field of lights.

Laser lights sweep across the vast field, which is filled with a thousand tube lights that line the perimeter. And if that wasn’t enough, man-made fog is added into the mix to create a mystical effect that partners well with the colors and lights. Not to mention, there’s a Christmas tunnel and a Christmas tree within the space to look and awe at as well.
Agoda deals
It’s the end of the year and if you were fortunate enough to not use up your leaves earlier on, now is the time to take them. There are balikbayans coming in from all parts of the world and it is time to spend more than the weekend with them—without breaking the bank.
