Globe Platinum Customers Enjoy BLACKPINK-Powered Workouts at Home While Raising Homeschool Kits #ForFutureHeroes
As an event #ForFutureHeroes, it was a weekend of fun and fitness for a good cause
On February 20 and 21, Globe Platinum customers joined the second Electric Weekend, where they took part in a string of complimentary live workouts taught by Electric Studio instructors and powered by BLACKPINK hits. The event also raised a total of 341 World Vision school kits for students from Baseco Compound, Manila.
This all kicked off on Saturday morning, where participants geared up for a 45-minute Electric Rhythm Boxing class. Armed with the complimentary workout tools they received for all of the weekend’s classes, Globe Platinum customers learned how to jab and cross in a high-intensity shadow boxing workout with Pia Lopa.
Later at 3PM, guests rode strong at the Pure Electric indoor cycling class with Raisa Ver. Participants used their own indoor cycling bikes at home and enjoyed an exhilarating ride to the tune of the hit BLACKPINK tracks As If It’s Your Last and Pretty Savage. Some guests without their own indoor bikes were able to join the ride by having an indoor bike rental delivered to their doorsteps for free.
This year’s Electric Weekend capped off with a Sunday morning Electric Flow class led by Mel Siytan. The 45-minute session combined the best of Pilates and yoga poses, where Platinum customers got to hit reset and set their intentions for the coming week.
By joining the workouts, guests had the chance to win BLACKPINK The Show official concert merchandise. To become one of the lucky BLINK winners, customers shared a recording of their Electric Weekend workouts on social media with the hashtags #GlobePlatinum and #ForFutureHeroes.
On top of enjoying a new way to work out at home, customers were able to help more children from Baseco Compound, Manila continue their studies. Every class joined and every workout posted was matched by Globe Platinum with World Vision school kits, which contain school supplies and learning modules approved by the Philippine Department of Education.
As Globe Platinum continues the #ForFutureHeroes campaign this year, Electric Weekend is just one of the many perks which customers can enjoy at home while supporting vulnerable students in shaping their future.
