How Your Favorite NBA Players Celebrated The New Year

Festivities all around (on and off the court)!

The first week of the year is almost over (time flies, right?), but some of us are still hungover from welcoming New Year’s Day—holiday parties and all. Apart from doing our own thing celebrating with our friends and family, it’s interesting to check out how today’s celebrated athletes decided to ring in the New Year.

On the court, the Detroit Pistons capped off the year by facing off with the Spurs; the score was 93–79 in favor of the Pistons. Also facing off on New Year’s Eve were the Philadelphia 76ers and the Denver Nuggets as well as Miami Heat and Orlando Magic. It was an evening of close calls for the Knicks and Jazz, winning their games against the Pelicans and Cavaliers, respectively, but only by a couple of points. The icing on top of an action-packed regular season, the Atlanta Hawks won their game against Portland with 104 points to the Trail Blazers’ 89. Lastly, the Golden State Warriors emerged victorious in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies (141-128).

Whether on the court, behind the scenes or out on holiday, see how these NBA players bid 2017 farewell and welcomed 2018 with arms wide open:
