After finishing off a sweep of the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 (109-102) last week, the Cavs became the first team to advance to the conference finals in the East. But many agree that the Raptors did good to make it a close game even without Kyle Lowry.
Isaiah Thomas wins the game for his sister
Despite what Isaiah Thomas has gone through—the loss of his sister Chyna Thomas and a painful oral surgery—the Celtics point guard still killed it on the floor. Thomas scored a career-high 53 points and led the team to victory against the Wizards early in the series. “There was no way I couldn’t play on her birthday,” said Thomas in an interview. "I wanted to win for her.” As of this writing, Boston holds a 3-2 lead and will face Washington on May 12 (PST) for Game 6.
The Golden State Warriors are going to the Western Conference Finals
The Golden State Warriors came into Game 1 of their series against the Utah Jazz well rested and with enough energy to beat the team throughout Game 4. Led by Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, the Warriors are set to face off against the San Antonio Spurs who eliminated the Houston Rockets in Game 6.
