For one, you can always count on Apple. Apple’s yearly updates of its flagship phones and other top-of-the-line gadgets are always something to look forward to. So, what is Apple working on this year? Well, rumor has it that Apple is set to reveal spec improvements and brand new versions of their major lines. If you aren’t excited yet, then read on! 

Here are the five hottest Apple product releases you can expect this 2021:

1. 14-inch MacBook Pro

If you were a fan of the recent 16-inch MacBook Pro, then you will surely love this update. Revamping Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro, Apple will possibly release an extensively redesigned version, the 14-inch MacBook Pro.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is said to include a flat-edged iPhone 12-like design and a similar heat pipe system to the 16-in MacBook Pro. Moreover, the MacBook will likely have an M1 processor, 8GB RAM, MagSafe‌ charging connector and WiFi 6. 

Apple will also restore physical functions with the removal of the touch bar. This MacBook’s graphics are presumed to be five times faster than its predecessors. You can also expect an improvement in sound quality and battery life of 20 hours. 

2. Apple Silicon iMac

Apple’s confirmation of its transition from Intel chips to its own Apple Silicon has led to the launch of the M1 MacBook Pro, M1 MacBook Air and the M1 Mac mini. However, the tech giant still has many improvements to reveal to their loyal Apple customers. 

A redesigned iMac, a larger replacement for the 21-inch model, is expected to be released in Spring to Fall 2021. Rumors say that it will feature an “iPad Pro design language” with thinner bezels and a 23- to 24-inch screen size. 

3. iPad Pro 

Apple’s game in 2020 was spectacular; the release of the iPad Pro 2020 was definitely one for the books. If you’d like to invest in an iPad that can double as a computer, the iPad Pro 2020 is the gadget for you. Apple has announced that their iPad Pro 2020, with its “pro” functions, is their best iPad to date. 

However, it may not hold this title for too long due to the rumored release of the iPad Pro 2021 during the first quarter of the year.  

Design-wise, the iPad Pro 2021 will be virtually identical to iPad Pro 2020. However, 2021 will have better specs, like the mini-LED display technology. A 12.9-inch screen and a 5G clip based on the A14 to promote a better gadget performance are also very likely. An 11-inch iPad Pro is also in the talks but is set for release at a later date. 

4. iPhone SE “Plus”

Apple offered a budget-friendly option with the introduction of the iPhone SE in 2020. This Fall 2021, Apple is likely to reveal a “Plus” version of the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE “Plus” will probably feature a full-screen design and a ‌Touch ID‌ fingerprint sensor built into the power button. The smartphone is also rumored to have a 5.5 or 6.1-inch screen size.

5. iPhone 13

The launch of the iPhone 12 is still fresh in our memory. But while you’re still pondering which one to buy between the iPhone 12 vs. iPhone 12 Pro, Apple may already be planning a new release.

When will Apple release the new iPhone? Apple is already gearing to reveal the iPhone 13 in September 2021. Four iPhone 13 models, as big and as visually similar as the iPhone 12, can be anticipated.

The iPhone 13 will have enhanced camera quality, 1TB of storage and a faster 5G.  You can also expect 120Hz ProMotion displays and a smaller notch. The phone will also rely on wireless and portless charging.
