What is GoWiFi?

GoWiFi is Globe Telecom’s fast and secure public hotspot service that provides customers with smooth Wi-Fi experiences. With this free Wi-Fi service, customers can enjoy a connection of up to 100 Mbps, meaning you can continue with your online activities at high speeds. 

With GoWiFi, you’re free to browse Facebook, upload photos on Instagram, check emails, stream videos, download or upload files, update your most-used apps and even listen to your favorite playlists. 

Of course, actual speed may vary as determined by the Wi-Fi signal strength, the number of people actively using the network at that time and wireless interference from other devices. 

How does GoWiFi work?

GoWiFi is available to use in select establishments, so you first have to be there to avail of the free internet access. The service is open to Globe, Smart, Sun, TM and TNT subscribers. 

Your mobile number is also needed to access the service, as it will send you the SMS offer from the Wi-Fi sponsor. Make sure that the mobile number you register with is correct, active and within good coverage to receive the code—you’ll need it for validation. 

How to use GoWiFi?

Getting connected with GoWiFi is pretty simple. Just look for the GoWiFi signal or toggle on your Wi-Fi settings to check the following hotspots:

• @FreeGoWiFi

• @establishment_FreeGoWiFi (ex., @AyalMalls_FreeGoWiFi)

• @GoWiFi_Auto

Connect to the GoWiFi hotspot. Then, a portal will pop up that will ask for your mobile number so that you can receive the validation code via SMS. Enter the code, choose a Wi-Fi offer and start surfing!

Where is GoWiFi available? 

GoWiFi is available at a growing number of hotspots in the country. You can get connected for free in different areas, such as Ayala Malls, NAIA and Cebu International Airport, as well as some provincial airports, convenience stores, hospitals, restaurants, schools, hotels, select MRT and LRT stations, shopping malls and even Boracay!
