Why The iPhone 7 Plus Is Still A Great Partner To Have
Hear us out
The pace of technology is one that we all seem to constantly need to come up with—and this is why every new release is always so followed, looked into and dissected. Every year brings in improvements on older features and, sometimes, the beginning of new ones. But just because there are constant upgrades doesn’t mean we can’t survive on the “older” technology.

The iPhone 7 Plus was first released to the market in September 2016. Thinking about it, this wasn’t even three years ago. So while there have been other generations of iPhones released since, this doesn’t mean that the iPhone 7 Plus is no longer capable of carrying its own weight.
Let’s look at the facts:
The display and camera
The iPhone 7 Plus features a Retina HD Display screen of 5.5 inches. And while this definitely isn’t the largest screen in the market, it does a great job at displaying in high quality thanks to its 1920x1080 pixel resolution at 401 ppi.
Meanwhile, the rear cameras of the iPhone 7 Plus—as you might remember from 2016—are dual 12MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras. It’s also the first smartphone from Apple that featured the Portrait mode of the camera, in which users could choose to blur their subject’s background right as the photos are being taken. The front camera, on the other hand, is a 7MP HD camera and the device’s video recording is capable of 4K at 30 fps.
The hardware
This is where most of us might get a little more particular: the hardware. Because this is what makes a device run as smooth as we would like it to, it’s always important to look at the core CPU of the smartphone.
When it comes to the iPhone 7 Plus, things are run by the A10 Fusion Chip. For comparison, the latest iPhone X is running on the A11 Bionic. We’re also looking at 3GB of RAM, at least 32GB of internal storage, a battery that’s 2,900mAh and water-resistant capabilities—which, let’s be honest, we all need once in a while.
But yes, there is no audio jack.
The design
At this point in the game, the Cupertino-based tech giant has put a signature on its designs: simple and minimalist. The iPhone 7 Plus is no different as it sports an aluminum frame, soft rounded corners and a variety of colors to choose from.

But what might be the biggest advantage of the iPhone 7 Plus is not just its specs and design—it’s the price point that they now come with. With Globe Postpaid Plan 1799, the unit comes with a relatively budget-friendly P4,800 cashout.
