Summer Video Games You Need To Get Your Hands On Stat

These titles might get you to reconsidering those out-of-town summer plans

The standard season go-to activity may be a beach trip out of town, but there is another way to spend your summer days. If you prefer to spend hours locked in your room with a controller in your hands, as opposed to being in a cramped car, then we can’t really blame you. Especially since recent releases and upcoming titles are some of the most anticipated for the entire year.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia

Fire Emblem Echoes is a complete remake of the 1992 Famicon title, Fire Emblem Gaiden. The game is being developed and still sports some of the unconventional gameplay features that the original title was notorious for. It was built on the standard turn-based fighting style but also included new elements such as a navigable world.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia will be released in May for the Nintendo 3DS.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus

Final Fantays XV’s first DLC, entitled Episode Gladiolus, is exactly what you would expect it to be. At the beginning of the story, Gladiolus steps away from the rest of the party and players get to experience his raw combat power. The character is slower in the DLC when compared to the base game, but there is also a rage meter that lets him charge and unleash new abilities after getting hit or damaged.

The DLC is short and offers maybe just an hour or two of gameplay. It was released earlier this month for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Persona 5

Unlike its predecessors, Persona 5 will put you in action almost as soon as the opening scene finishes. It features a turn-based battle system, as well as ranged weapons and the chance to negotiate. The game is massive as well, as the dungeons easily double those found in Persona 3 and 4. It’s also more difficult to navigate because the paths branch out, with some sporting hidden rooms and doors that require puzzles to answer.

Persona 5 will be released in April for the PlayStation 3 and 4.

Tekken 7

The world of Tekken is no stranger to gamers, as it’s become a staple in most gaming households. But Bandai Namco is putting in a lot of new features to make Tekken 7 more exciting. One of the biggest things is Rage Art, which is a simple move that can be activated once the player’s health is critical. Unlike most special movies, there is no meter to fill up and there is an average of just three buttons to press. The classics are in there as well, including story mode, practice and online play.

Tekken 7 will be released in June for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

To make the most out of every gaming experience, make sure that you have the right accessories to compliment your lifestyle. The Ipega Bluetooth Classic Gamepad turns your smartphone into a handheld console, and connection is made easy via its Bluetooth 3.0 feature. Minimize the issue with touchscreen controls and maximize your screen at the same time.
