Ready for Burgers and Brews, Manila? Shake Shack’s Shackmeister Burger Is Here

The award-winning ShackMeister Burger is now available for a limited period

Shake Shack has brought its fan-favorite burger, the ShackMeister Burger, to the Philippines. In Metro Manila stores, customers can treat themselves to the limited-time menu known to combine “good old-fashioned comfort and simple indulgence.”

What is there to know about this perfect bite?

“Originally created in 2014 for a burger competition in the U.S, Shake Shack’s ethos was simple: to bring the iconic pairing of burger and beer to life,” shared Shake Shack Philippines in a statement. “Topping the classic ShackBurger, a 100% all-natural beef cheeseburger (no added hormones or antibiotics), with crispy beer-marinated shallots and ShackSauce on a non-GMO potato bun, the ShackMeister Burger (₱325) was born and ultimately bagged the Judge’s Choice for Best Burger at that time.”

The ShackMeister Burger had a spectacular run when it was released for a limited time in 2015, and again when it made its way back on the menu in 2020.

For those who want the full-blown ShackMeister experience, there are other notable additions to the Shake Shack Manila menu that are worth trying: the ShackMeister Dog (₱295), made with 100% all-natural beef hot dog, beer-marinated crispy shallots, and cheese sauce smeared on a potato bun, and the ShackMeister Fries (₱215), with beer-marinated crispy shallots and cheese sauce over a generous serving of crunchy, crinkle-cut fries. 

To top things off? Meet the beer behind it all. 

The perfect drink to go with the perfect bite, the ShackMeister Ale (₱180 for the 16-ounce order; ₱260 for the 24-ounce order) is what ties the experience together, after all being the key to Shake Shack’s flavorful, crispy beer-marinated shallots. 

The ShackMeister release is also tied to a good cause

For summer 2022, Shake Shack is partnering up with local destinations Masungi Georeserve and Huni Sicogon “in a bid to help promote sustainable and responsible tourism.”
