Deactivation of Operator-Assisted Calls

Why will operator-assisted calls via 109 and 108 no longer be available?

Globe is continuously evolving to serve the changing needs of our customers while adapting to a new digital lifestyle. As we take on these changes, we'll no longer support operator-assisted calls that utilize manual ways of connecting you to your loved ones.

When will this service end?

The operator-assisted numbers 109 and 108 ended last June 30, 2016.

How do I make domestic and international calls then?

You can still call your loved ones within the Philippines and abroad directly through the easy-to-follow dialing procedures below.

  • To call non-Globe numbers outside your area (NDD calls) for only P6.50 per minute:

Dial 0 + area code + landline number (Example: 0-34-1234567)

  • To call international numbers outside the Philippines (IDD calls) for only $0.40 per minute:
  • Dial 00 + country code + area code + telephone number (Example: 00-1-209-1234567)

How do I activate my NDD and IDD services?

For activation of NDD and/or IDD services and other inquiries, call us at (02) 77301000 free from a Globe mobile phone or Globe/Bayan landline.
