What is iflix?

iflix is the world’s leading entertainment service for emerging markets, offering users unlimited access to thousands of TV shows & movies - plus local faves, iflix Originals, LIVE sports, snackables and more. iflix is putting the entertainment that people want at their fingertips, with high quality streaming on any device.

What is the difference between iflixFREE and iflixVIP?

iflixFREE is the free version of the iflix streaming service. It has over 6,000 hours worth of free movies and shows and sponsored movie of the day.

On the other hand, iflixVIP is the paid version at P129/month that can be unlocked for the whole library of shows and movies (over 12,000 hours worth of content) —plus live special events and minus the ads.

What type of content can I watch on iflixVIP?

Customers can enjoy Filipino content such as I Love You Hater & Encantadia, Korean content such as What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, international content like the Harry Potter series & The Good Place, iflix Originals like Slang Along and Hot Ones plus LIVE sports.

How many devices can I use for iflixVIP?

A single iflixVIP account can register up to 5 devices. However, iflix only allows streaming in up to two (2) devices at the same time. If customer wants to register a 6th device, they will need to remove 1 device that is registered to make way for the new one.

Can I cast iflix to my TV?

Yes, iflix is compatible with Chromecast and via iflix app in newer Samsung TVs, LG and Panasonic, Android TV/Boxes.

Can I register to iflixVIP using any valid email address?

Yes, as long as the said email address hasn’t been used for an iflixVIP account before.

If I create a new iflix account, can I have my previous account deleted?

Globe is not permitted to delete iflix accounts. For more details on how to manage your iflix account, please visit [email protected]

Who are eligible for the iflixVIP offer?

NEW Globe At Home Postpaid subscribers who applied for a broadband plan starting March 15 - May 31, 2019 are eligible to redeem 6 months access to iflixVIP at no cost.Promo is also applicable to all EXISTING Globe At Home Postpaid subscribers who upgraded their current plan starting March 15 - May 31, and has never been given this free content. 

Important reminder:

  • At the end of the 6-month period, subscription automatically converts to a paid promo version of P 129/month.
  • This offer is not yet available for Globe At Home Prepaid Wifi customers.

How do I claim my 6-month access to iflixVIP?

You'll receive an email from Globe within 48 hours with instructions on how to redeem your iflix access after successfully activating your new Globe At Home plan. In this email, you'll be asked to do the following steps to redeem your iflixVIP subscription:

  • Click the Activation Button in the email
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  • You will be taken to iflix landing page to continue the redemption process. Note: if you don’t have the iflix app installed yet, you will first be asked to download the app from the App store before continuing the process.
  • Proceed with creating an iflixVIP account or log in with an existing one once redirected to the iflix page.
  • User will be registered and needs to click proceed to continue the process.
  • Enjoy streaming Filipino, Korean, Hollywood and original shows and movies from iflixVIP.

How long can I use iflixVIP at no cost?

You can use 6-month access at no cost, starting from the day that the redemption link e-mail was sent.

I can’t find my iflixVIP redemption link email. What do I do?

You may visit www.globe.com.ph/broadband/free-content to request for a new email redemption link. Requests to resend subscription links will only be accommodated within 30 days after your Globe At Home application has been processed. Once we verify your eligibility, please expect an email containing the redemption link within 2 working days.

I am a Globe At Home Postpaid customer who received the iflixVIP 6-month access. Until when can I redeem the offer?

Your 6 months iflixVIP access may be redeemed within 30 days upon receipt of the email informing you of the offer. Please note that the access is only valid for 6 months starting from the day that the redemption link e-mail was sent.

I have an active paid subscription to iflixVIP. Will I be able to redeem the offer?

You will have to sign-up with a different e-mail address to redeem the 6-month iflixVIP access from Globe.

What if I want the redemption e-mail to be sent to my other email address?

Your iflixVIP access will be sent to the email address indicated in your Globe At Home plan. To update this information, please call our Customer Service Hotline (02) 730 1000.

What if I’m not eligible for the iflixVIP access subscription that comes with Globe At Home? Can I still enjoy iflixVIP?

For now, we can only offer iflixVIP to new and upgrade plan Globe At Home Postpaid customers but you may charge iflixVIP to your Globe Postpaid account by following these steps:
  1. On the iflix app, click on VIP Plans
  2. Under Loyalty Plan or Fun Pass, choose “Pay with your mobile bill.”
  3. Select your Globe Postpaid mobile number from the choices
  4. Click Continue
  5. Start enjoying your iflixVIP access for only P129/month, charged to your Globe Postpaid bill.

How do I unsubscribe from iflixVIP?

You may unsubscribe anytime by filing a cancellation request, go to www.globe.com.ph/broadband/unsubscribe. Cancellation request will be processed within 2 working days after submission.Once cancelled, you may no longer access iflixVIP, and if you wish to access the app again, you need to subscribe to the paid version.


If you don't cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, you will automatically be converted to the PAID promo offer of P129/month.

How will I know if my iflixVIP access is about to end?

You will receive pre-expiry email notifications 14 and 7 days before the end of the 6 months from the day the redemption link e-mail was sent. The iflixVIP access will automatically be converted to the paid version for P129/ month unless you choose to cancel before the expiry date.  To cancel your subscription, go to www.globe.com.ph/broadband/unsubscribe.html. Please note that your request will be processed within 2 working days.

What happens at the end of my 6 months access to iflixVIP?

At the end of the 6 months iflixVIP access, you will automatically be converted to the paid version for P129/ month unless you choose to cancel before the expiry date. To cancel your subscription, go to https://www.globe.com.ph/broadband/unsubscribe.html. Please note that your request will be processed within 2 working days. After this, you will no longer be able to access iflixVIP.
