What is a Globe At Home Streamwatch Xtreme Postpaid?

The Globe At Home Streamwatch Xtreme Postpaid is a subscription plan with a self-install modem offering 2X faster, 2X stronger, and 2X wider coverage than a pocket WiFi.

It is the first-ever internet TV box in the Philippines that allows you to access the internet, watch clear local TV channels, turn your regular HDMI TV to a Smart TV,  sing karaoke on YouTube, access Google Assistant and more!

What do you mean by ‘Self-install modem’?

A self-install modem means that you can get the device, then just follow the easy setup guide to get your modem connected. No need to schedule, or wait for a technician!

How much do I need to pay to get a Streamwatch Xtreme Postpaid WiFi plan?

To take home an Xtreme Postpaid plan, simply pay an upfront cash payment equivalent to 1 month of your selected Monthly Recurring Fee. An additional P300 delivery fee will also be charged for online orders.

How do I know if my device is already activated?

Once the setup steps are completed, your Globe at Home Air modem will be automatically connected within 24 hours. You’ll also receive a Welcome message from Globe At Home to confirm activation within 24 hours.

If I use up my Home Internet Allowance, can I purchase Volume Boost?

Yes! You may add more data to your account through our Globe At Home App! Just download the app on your mobile phone, enroll your account and select the Volume Boost offer you want.

How do I turn on my Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device?

To turn on the device follow the steps below:

  • Plug in the antenna cable to the device and place antenna 1m away from the window point up towards the sky
  • Connect the device to the TV via HDMI/RCA Cable
  • Plug in device charger and wait for the power indicator to turn green
  • Turn on the TV
  • Wait for 3-5 minutes for the device to boot up
  • Choose “YES” to location accuracy

How do I watch TV or scan for channels using my Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device?

To watch TV or scan for channels using your Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device, just follow the steps below:

  • Select ‘Live TV’ Icon on the left side of the TV screen
  • Leave all default setting except ‘LCN’ component, which should be turned ON and click ‘NEXT’
  • Ensure ‘SCAN TYPE’ is set to FTA and click ‘NEXT’
  • Wait for 3-5 minutes for channels to be scanned
  • Start enjoying your local TV channels!

How do I connect to the WiFi?

To connect to the WiFi, follow these steps:

  • On your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, open your WiFi Settings
  • Select your WiFi Network
  • Enter your password
  • Monitor your usage by downloading the Globe At Home App!

How do I maintain my Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device?

Here are some Do’s and Dont’s on how to properly maintain your Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device:


  • Install the modem on a flat surface in an area with good air circulation
  • Turn off the modem and disconnect the power adapter from the power outlet when not in use.
  • Clean the modem with a soft damp cloth regularly to ensure that it is always dust-free


  • Do not use the other power adapters with the modem other than the one supplied
  • Do not let the modem get wet to avoid damaging internal components
  • Do not drop the modem to avoid dislodging the modem’s internal components
  • Do not place the modem near the refrigerator, radio, or television
  • Do not place the modem inside a cabinet

I can’t turn on my Globe Streamwatch Xtreme device. What should I do?

Make sure to check the following:

  • Check if the power connector is completely plugged into the DC socket of your TV
  • Check if the power supply stable

The remote doesn’t work. What should I do?

Make sure to check the following:

  • Make sure the batteries are good and that they are inserted correctly in the remote control
  • Make sure the distance between the remote control and the box is no more than 5 meters

What do I do if there’s no pictures or sound on the TV?

Make sure to check the following:

  • Check if the RCA cable is securely connected
  • Check if you have selected the correct RCA input on your TV
  • Check if the antenna cable is connected to the receiver tightly
  • Set the values of the tuner parameters correctly in the installation menu
  • Check if the AV cable of the XTreme Postpaid device is connected to the AV output of your TV
  • Check if your TV is on mute

What do I do if I can’t connect to the internet?

Make sure to check the following on your device:

  • Check the router device if it is plugged in
  • Check your modem device if the WiFi is turned on or whether the mobile settings are correct (or restart the mobile device)
  • Disable the device’s wireless connection and then re-enable it
  • Move the device to an appropriate place such as beside the window, to get better signal, and try again

If you’re having trouble getting a good  connection on your device, follow these steps:

Where is Xtreme Postpaid WiFi available?

Xtreme Postpaid WiFi plans are available in all Globe Stores or our Globe Shop.

What speed do I get with my Globe At Home Streamwatch Xtreme Postpaid Wifi?

Speeds are variable on the Globe At Home LTE mobile and broadband network and will depend on a number of factors, including congestion, location, local condition, hardware, software, and general internet traffic. The SIM inserted in the modem must not be removed and will not work in any other device.

How can I request for a refund/replacement?

From the date of purchase, the subscriber has 30 days upon receipt of the modem to replace the defective Xtreme Postpaid WiFi  device in any Globe Store nationwide. Modem replacement may only be done once. In case of return, the one-month advance payment (P999 or P1499) will be credited to the subscriber. Globe will no longer return the delivery fee to the customer.

If your device is still within the 30-day replacement/refund period, bring it to any Globe store for replacement/refund. 

If your device is outside the 30-days replacement/refund period you’ll need to visit the nearest Intogadgets Service Center.
