STEP 1a


Open your browser and key in http://192.168.1.1. If you see the ‘Disconnect' button, it means your modem is connected to the Internet.

If your Globe Broadband username and password is visible, then it means there's NO Internet Connection.

You may also look at the ‘Status', placed at the bottom of the page, to verify your connection. If the Status is ‘Down', there's NO Internet connection.

But if the Status is ‘Up', there is an Internet connection.

Indicated beside the Status, you will see the total duration of your Internet connectivity and your current connectivity.

To check some basic settings of your router, click on ‘Status' Menu then select ‘System' tab.

To check the basic status of your LAN, simply click ‘Status' Menu then click the ‘LAN' tab.

If you want to see the basic status of WAN, just hit the ‘Status' Menu then click ‘WAN' tab.

You can also check your traffic statistics by simply clicking ‘Status' Menu, select the ‘Statistic' tab, and then click ‘Traffic Statistics'.

LAST STEP


To check your SNR and line attenuation values, click ‘Status' then hit the ‘Statistic' tab, and then click ‘DSL Statistic'.
