STEP 1


Just like the Huawei BM622 modem, the BM622i also has 4 LED indicators: the Wimax indicator, Power button, LAN, and TEL. The table below describes the functions of each LED

The LAN and Telephone ports are placed at the back panel of the modem as illustrated below:

After identifying the hardware components of Huawei BM622i, let's move on to the software part which is the modem GUI. First, open your web browser. On the address bar, type "192.168.254.1" to go to the Default Gateway. Enter "user" in both the username and password fields, then click ‘login'.

Same as with other Huawei modems, you can see the model of your modem by simply clicking on ‘Status' Menu then ‘Device'.

STEP 5


To verify your connection status, click ‘Status' Menu then click ‘WAN'. Aside from the internet status, you can also view the duration of your internet usage under the WAN section.

To view your LAN connection status, click on ‘Status' then click ‘LAN'.
