Fair Use Policy for Unlimited Promos FAQs
I was not informed of this policy of Fair Use / I was not warned prior to deactivation.
Upon your registration to the SUPERTXTALL promo, you have received a confirmation message that includes a guideline on Fair Use Policy, with a link that directs to the Globe website. Also, before deactivation, we send sufficient SMS warnings to customers with unusually high usage to regulate their use of the promo.
Why do you call your service "unlimited" when it's not really unlimited?
Please note that the unlimited offer was intended for personal use only. NTC rules that promos are subjected to the Fair Use Policy.
We reserve the right to terminate/suspend promo subscription/s that violates this policy. This policy prevents network abuse, allowing us to fully optimize network capacity and maintain the quality of our services for you, our valued customer.
What is your threshold? How do you define normal usage?
The threshold varies depending on the overall usage and could change without prior notice. Our system continually monitors usage, and as soon as it detects that your usage is significantly higher than the normal terms of use, it will automatically trigger promo deactivation."
I was not able to enjoy my unlimited promo subscription for the full 30 days. Can you reverse the charges for my 30-day subscription?
We cannot entertain any requests for reversal of charges. If your 30-day subscription was pre-terminated, it was most likely because your usage for the duration of your subscription far exceeded the normal 30-day usage of an average customer.
I see. But can you at least reactivate the promo?
Unfortunately, we also cannot entertain any requests for reactivation of the promo. Your registration will remain blocked for the rest of your remaining subscription days and for the next 30 days.
So when will you allow me to register again?
Don't worry, you may register again 30 days after the end of your remaining subscription days.
Can I have my promo subscription reactivated or my account unblocked?
Sorry, but we cannot entertain any requests for the reactivation of your promo subscription or the unblocking of your account. NTC rules that promos are applicable for person to person transaction only and must not be used for commercial purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend promo subscription/s suspected to be engaged in such activities.
