What is this promo about?

Globe Postpaid, Prepaid and TM customers with enough points and have downloaded the Globe Rewards app are eligible to redeem a 3-day Viu subscription (P29 for 15pts) during promo week Feb. 16, 18-21, and redeem for only 1pt during the Flash Deal day on Feb. 17.

What are unique codes?

Unique codes per customer can be used as redemption codes (with alphanumeric characters). You may enter the redemption code from Viu via the website or app to redeem subscription.

Where are the Viu codes valid and until when?

You can use the code on the Viu website ( or on the Viu app (currently available on the Google Play Store).

How do I claim the codes?

1. Open the Globe Rewards App and look for the Viu promo offer.

2. If a customer has sufficient points, choose the desired Viu promo offer 

3. Redeem the offer and pay for the cost of the redemption code using the Globe Rewards points.

4. Receive confirmation messages from 4438 and 8080 with the redemption code.

5. Enter the redemption code on the Viu website ( or app (for android only) to redeem subscription.

Viu app redemption using Android phone:

1. Open the Viu app and select Redeem Code

3. Confirm and a will prompt successful redemption

Viu app redemption using iOS phone:

1. Go to and enter the code and captcha.

2. The screen will verify the validity of the code. If not logged in, the user will be prompted to log in or register.

3. View the details along with the account to be upgraded and clicks Redeem Now.

4. Once successfully redeemed, a page notification will be displayed and you can now start using your Viu Premium account.

Viu redemption via Viu website:

1. You’ll be redirected to the site's homepage after clicking link from 8080.

2. Click 'Member' on the upper right corner or at the bottom part of the homepage and selects 'Redeem Code'.

3. Enter the redemption code and captcha shown inside the box.

4. Click 'Next Step' and redirects to the redemption details.

5. Click 'Log In or Register' to redeem the 3-day Viu subscription.

6. You need to complete the redemption to activate the redemption code and enjoy watching. If redemption is not completed, click 'Continue' to continue and complete redemption.

What are the limitations of this promo?

  1. Customers may only redeem the Flash Deal offer once. If a customer has enough points, he/she can redeem multiple promo offers.
  2. If a customer is on a non-voucher code-based Premium subscription (ex. In-app purchase, credit/debit card, Globe Postpaid line), customer must cancel the subscription there first, before being able to avail the Rewards promo.
  3. If a customer is on another voucher-based subscription, the customer may redeem this subscription code and stack on top of the existing subscription period.
    • Voucher based is the code using the alphanumeric code (same on rewards offer).  It will only stack if the previous subscriptions are also from voucher availments, otherwise #2 applies
  4. Redemption codes cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other Globe products and/or services.
  5. Redemption is valid only on the partner’s website or mobile app
  6. Globe is not liable to offer a replacement code that has already been used or expired.
  7. Promo is part of the Globe Rewards redemption transaction cap of five (5)  per day (except for BUY or Points-As-Cash transactions)
  8. Redemption of an item on Feb. 17 (Flash Deal) is limited to one per user only.
