Specific to Globe Postpaid Trade-In, Trade-Up Promo


  • Customers must trade in an old or used device via Instacash app. InstaCash is an instant mobile selling platform, owned by CompAsia, on which customers can trade in or sell their used/old smartphones, when purchasing a new phone.
  • The customer’s pick-up address for the trade-in with CompAsia must be within the National Capital Region  (NCR).
  • InstaCash can be downloaded via these channels:
  • The InstaCash app will diagnose the customer’s old phone and accurately determine the best resale value given the phone’s condition and functionality.
  • The customer must complete all the necessary trade-in and trade-up Instacash app requirements.
  • After customer completes the necessary steps within the app, the customer will receive a call from CompAsia’s customer representative within 24 hours. They may be asked for more images or answers to certain inquiries.
  • An initial assessment receipt will be received by the customer after this and subsequently, CompAsia will schedule the pick-up of the customer’s phone from their residence within three working days.
  • Once confirmed, the customer will receive a final email confirmation/receipt from the CompAsia transaction that will contain the IMEI of the device traded in as well as the Globe voucher code to be used in the Globe Online Shop for a GPlan application.
  • The customer will receive the value of their old device from CompAsia via GCash, Partner Banks, or Paymaya.
  • The customer must then apply/recontract for a Globe GPlan/Platinum GPlan with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G or Z Flip 3 5G to get access to the additional P9,600 (for Z Fold3 5G) and P7,200 discount (for Z Flip3 5G) special trade-in cash-out.

Qualified Subscribers

  • This promo is open to new and renewing Globe subscribers who will avail of a Globe GPlan/Platinum GPlan with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G or Z Flip 3 5G via  Globe online, Platinum Relationship Managers, or selected Globe Stores.
  • The customer must have completed the whole CompAsia Trade-in, Trade-up transaction (from InstaCash app fulfillment to device pick-up to CompAsia physical confirmation) and have a confirmation email of this transaction from CompAsia within the promo period. This will take a minimum of three days. Maximum number of days will depend on how soon a customer completes each step of the transaction.
  • The customer must also apply for a Globe GPlan/Platinum GPlan within the promo period.

Customer Mechanics

  1. The customer must complete the trade-in with CompAsia before going to Globe channels (Globe online, Platinum Relationship Managers, and select Globe Stores) to be eligible for the special cashout discount for TITU. They must have the confirmation email indicating the successful TITU transaction and Trade-In voucher code.
  2. The customer applies for/renews their GPlan/Platinum GPlan with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy ZFlip3 5G on August 19 to September 12, 2021.
  3. The customer presents the final email confirmation/receipt and Samsung Discount Number of their valid InstaCash Trade-In, Trade-up transaction.
  4. The customer submits required documents, and gets approved within the availment period.
  5. The customer gets the TITU token, depending on the device purchased as indicated below. Freebies are dependent onthe type of postpaid subscriber, which channel it was applied for and the date of postpaid application and approval. The date ofpostpaid application and approval must fall within the promo period.

  1.  The TITU token will be directly applied on the device cashout of customer.
  2. Only TITU transactions with a transaction receipt/Samsung Discount Number within the said promo period are eligibleto redeem the freebie.
  3. If the customer ordered online, the customer selects direct delivery.
  4. The customer receives the selected device based on the delivery date indicated after the order.
  5. Other guidelines:
    1. For direct delivery:
      1. Delivery is free of charge. 
      2. Only the customer can receive the item, unless the customer advised Globe that an authorized representative will receive the order.
      3. A valid ID of the customer or of the representative, whichever name is indicated during the process must be presented to receive the package.
      4. The customer will be provided with a delivery note that needs to be signed after receipt of the item.
  6. Customers may claim their purchased Galaxy Z Fold3 5G/Z Flip3 5G unit from Globe.
  7. This offer is not convertible to cash.
  8. This offer can be availed with the pre-order discount promo and the pre-order freebies promo for Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Z Flip3 5G.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Customers who will complete the trade-in process with CompAsia prior to the GPlan application will get an instantdiscount on their cash-out from Globe upon application. The subscriber's handset will be collected prior to the GPlan application.
  2. Offers will not apply to returned defective products where the customer opted for a refund instead of a replacement.Any free item received shall be returned/surrendered to Samsung in good condition if products purchased arereturned and a refund was given by Samsung.
  3. Samsung shall not be liable for failure of the customer to redeem free item/s due to factors beyond Samsung’scontrol.
  4. Samsung reserves the right to reject any redemption when (i) redemption documents are incomplete or not inaccordance with the form prescribed by Samsung and, in any or both instances, customer is not able to complete orcomply with the prescribed format within the redemption period, (ii) any and/or all of the redemption documentsis/are falsified, tampered or fraudulent in any way, and (iii) if Samsung believes in its sole discretion that theredemption is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  5. For authorized representatives who will receive the free item/s, kindly present an authorization letter from the customer with a copy of his/her valid ID and a copy of the authorized representative’s valid ID. Alternatively, the authorized representative may simply present the delivery code sent to the customer via email.
