If availing of GPlan with device, we have varying lock-up periods of 12 / 24 / 36 months, depending on the device you choose. Meanwhile, GPlan with GCash has a lock-up period of 24 mos, whereas GPlan Sim-Only / Sim-Only All Data has a lock-up period of 6 mos.

Plan renewal means being able to renew your mobile postpaid subscription once you get past your contract period of 24 months. By plan renewal, you can also avail of a new handset, either for free or with a certain cash-out, depending on your plan.
Plan renewal only applies to consumer postpaid customers.
N.B. These FAQs apply to Consumer Mobile Postpaid accounts only. Due to difference in terms and conditions, Globe Business and Globe myBusiness clients may inquire about Plan Renewal through their Account Managers (AMs) or (02) 7730-1288.
When you apply for plan renewal , your number will be retained and you can be eligible for a new device. If you already have your own device, you can just opt to change to GPlan which is the SIM-only version of GPlan, and get bonus consumable value depending on the plan you choose.
When availing of a device, you'll be under contract again for 24 months. When availing of GPlan, there is no more contract!
To renew your plan, simply go to www.globe.com.ph/shop/plan-renewal. You may also copy and paste the link directly to your mobile or laptop browser. Before making the request, you must at least have an active postpaid account without any contract, or a contract ending in less than 30 days and have no remaining balance from your previous bill.
To know if your account meets these requirements, you may check via the Globe One app.
Go to the Dashboard section, scroll down to Current Plan and check your contract which is also viewable under the Plan Details section.
Next, hit the Menu icon and check if your Amount to pay includes balance from the previous bill. Any remaining balance from the previous bill should be paid before making a plan renewal request.
Once you've confirmed that your contract has ended and you're fully paid up, go to Plan Details in the app and hit the Renew my Plan button below it to go to www.globe.com.ph/shop/plan-renewal .
With the end of your contract, you have the option to upgrade or downgrade to a higher or lower tier plan but remember that your renewal options will depend upon your new plan.
Renewing your plan allows you to retain your number and you also can also avail of a new handset which may either be free or with a certain payment, depending on your plan.
For your plan options, you can choose between GPlan with a device which comes with a 24-month contract, or you may avail of a line-only plan called GPlan, which doesn't have any contract. You may check these plans in detail at https://shop.globe.com.ph/postpaid-plans .
If you've recently reactivated your postpaid plan without any contract carried over, please wait at least six months before making a plan renewal request.
To renew your plan, you must:
have an active postpaid account
have a postpaid account that's either out of contract, or the contract will end in 30 days or less.
have no remaining balance from the previous bill
sign a plan renewal form
To check the status and other details of your account, you can log in to Globe One
Your plan renewal options will be based on the new plan that you're changing to.
Yes, this is allowed. The new owner may renew the account in six (6) months time.
If there's still more than 30 days left in your current contract, you'll have to pay a pre-termination fee. If there's less than 30 days in your ongoing contract, you're already eligible for plan renewal.
If you do not finish your lock-up, you will have to pay the corresponding pre-termination fees.
