Prititit! Globe and the WeAreAyala Business Club-Cebu brought the recent Sinulog Festival to a whole new level as they unveiled the BisAyala Passion City: Pagandahin ang Araw-Araw ng mga Cebuano. This exciting new initiative elevated the celebration of one of the most iconic and vibrant festivals in the Philippines.


Held annually on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City, the Sinulog Festival pays homage to the Santo Niño or the child Jesus.  It showcases Cebu’s rich culture and heritage through traditional street dancing, colorful costumes, and a trade fair featuring the province’s export-quality products.


And this year, when Sinulog returned on ground for the first time since the pandemic, participants and spectators alike got to enjoy an upgraded festival experience through Passion City.

Globe and WeAreAyala Business Club launched BisAyala Passion City at Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center last January 11, which featured the GlobeOne Experience Hub, showcasing what our customers can enjoy with the new and improved GlobeOne App, including exclusive offers, hassle-free bills payments, engaging in-app games, and rewards redemption powered by Globe Rewards. Other booths include Globe Prepaid Virtual Hangouts, Globe at Home Questune, Kmmunity, Globe Gamer Grounds, Globe Business, GCash, and KonsultaMD.

Through Passion City, Globe customers got the services they needed in one hub and had fun at the same time. 


The event also aimed to encourage customers to register their SIMs under the SIM Registration Law. For Sinulog 2023 celebrations from January 11 to 15, the Globe Group mounted assisted SIM Registration booths at the following locations: Airport booths at the Mactan Cebu International Airport, Passion City at the Ayala Activity Center, Globe Store Ayala Center, Globe Store SM City Cebu, Globe EasyHub SM Seaside, and the Globe booth at Fuente Osmeña Circle.


BisAyala Passion City also supports the Hapag Movement as its primary advocacy program to help address involuntary hunger in the Philippines. During the festival, customers got to donate directly to the Hapag Movement through the GlobeOne App upon registration and entry to BisAyala Passion City.


Additionally, there were engagements from booths of different partners from the Ayala Group, including BPI, Entrego, Honda, Avida, Alveo, and Ayala Land Premier.


Globe also hosted the #GlobeSinulog VisPop Fest at the Ayala Activity Center and the #GlobeSinulog Music Fest featuring Mandaue Nights, I Belong To The Zoo, and Lola Amour at the Ayala Terraces.
