STEP 1


Open a browser and go to the Modem Admin Page by keying in 192.168.1.1. You will see a pop-up menu, asking for a username and a password. Type "admin" as the username and "Password" as your password. You will then be redirected to the Home Page.

Mouse over the Main Menu, placed at the top of the page, to see the following Sub Menus.

For PPPoE setting, simply click ‘Quick Setup' Menu then enter your Globe Broadband username and password.

Click Commit and Reboot.

Please wait until it goes back to the Home Page.

Set up your PPPoA by simply clicking the ‘Internet Interface' Menu, then ‘ATM Settings'.

Put in "35" as the VCI Value, and then click the ‘Encapsulation' and the ‘Channel Mode'.

After selecting the ‘Channel Mode', ‘Enable NAPT' will automatically be checked.

Enter your Globe Broadband Username and Password then select ‘Continuous' as the Type.

Please leave other entries as they are when you opened the page, then click ‘Add'.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check if the settings were set properly.

Click the ‘Admin' Menu then select ‘Save and Reboot'.

Click the ‘Commit and Reboot' button afterward.

Wait awhile until it returns to the Home Page.

If you're back in the Home Page, scroll down to check if you have already established Internet Connection.

If you see the ‘Disconnect' button, it means that you're already connected to the internet.
