Frequently Asked Questions on Changes on Your Globe Bill

We redesigned the postpaid bill with you in mind! The new format is simpler, easier to understand, and ensures you know exactly what you’re paying for.

In 2017, we introduced changes to make your bill clearer and more user-friendly. Here's what’s new:

 

  • VAT-inclusive amounts: The amount in the Statement Summary now includes VAT, making your total charges more transparent.

  • Separate VAT breakdown: The Monthly Recurring Fee (MRF) and Summary of Excess Usage now display VAT as a separate line item for better clarity.
    Improved layout:

    • Payment stub removed—just use your account number to pay.

    • Personalized greetings added via a message box.

    • Payment channels now displayed at the bottom of the first page.

    • Flat-rate call indicator removed since all calls now have fixed service rates.

    • A Welcome Message and Plan Details section included for first-time bill recipients.

No, these updates are entirely free! There are no additional charges for the improved bill format.

The Statement Summary includes all amounts VAT-inclusive.
To see a detailed VAT breakdown:

 

  • Go to the Summary Section of your bill.

  • Look under the sub-section Total Charges for the VAT on MRF and excess usage.


Note: As required by law, monthly recurring fees, one-time charges, and usage charges (local, domestic, and others) are subject to a 12% VAT.
