Cebu Province and the highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, posted a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of ₱1.01 trillion in 2023, according to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority. It accounts for 29.8 percent of the region’s GDP, highlighting its importance in Central Visayas' economic growth.

The strategic placement of new Globe towers is set to boost mobile and data services, providing faster, more reliable connections. Reliable connectivity bridges communication gaps and improves access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and financial platforms.
