Frequently Asked Questions on Globe AT HOME Monthly Internet Allowance
Your monthly internet allowance is the maximum amount of data, measured in gigabytes (GB), that you can use with your Globe At Home account in one month. This includes all data downloaded and uploaded on devices connected to your home network, such as your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Starting in 2015, all Globe At Home plans, except for Go UNLI plans, come with a monthly internet allowance to suit your browsing needs.
Globe At Home offers plans with data allowances ranging from 100GB to 6TB, giving you options based on your budget and how much internet your family uses. Even if you exceed your allowance, you’ll still stay connected at 256kbps.
If you need more data for your plan, you can purchase a Volume Boost starting at just ₱99 to continue browsing at your plan’s full speed.
You can check your allowance anytime using the GlobeOne app.
Once you enroll your account in the GlobeOne app, you can see how much data you’ve used and even set alerts to let you know when you’re running low.
Your data usage depends on:
The number of users and devices connected to your network;
The types of content you access; and
The quality of the content.
For example, streaming in high resolution or downloading high-quality files will use more data thansimply browsing social media or sending emails.
If you reach your monthly allowance, you’ll still have internet access, but your speed will be reduced to 256kbps. To get back to your plan’s full speed, you can add more data with Volume Boost.

Your monthly internet allowance automatically refreshes at the start of each month, so you can enjoy your plan at full speed again.

If your Globe At Home plan was installed before 2015, it doesn’t have a monthly internet allowance. However, it is subject to the terms of our Fair Use Policy.
Your data usage may be higher than you realize due to:
Multiple users or devices accessing your network.
Unsecured Wi-Fi that allows others to connect.
Smart devices (e.g., smart TVs, set-top boxes) that consume data even in standby mode.
Automatic updates on devices and apps.
Music and video streaming apps, especially when set to high-quality settings.
