Frequently Asked Questions on Globe Business Bill Glossary

BIR CAS Permit No.
A BIR-issued permit for computerized accounting systems.

SOA No.
A Globe-generated number to identify the billing statement.

 

Includes your account number, company name, and address for accurate billing, service management, and account verification. 

Bill Number
Indicates the sequence of your bills and increases every month as long as you stay with Globe.

Amount to Pay
Your total charges for the billing period, including any balance from the previous bill (overdue). The overdue amount should be paid immediately. 

If settled after the bill cut-off but before the current bill's due date, you can disregard it. Your current charges must be paid on or before the due date.

Corporate ID
An identifier that consolidates your multiple account numbers into one billing summary.

Account Number
Your unique identifier used for payment transactions.

Credit Limit
Assigned by Globe based on your gross sales or revenue, this amount determines the maximum postpaid plan or number of lines you can avail of. It also sets the maximum allowable usage per billing period.

Billing Period
The date range covered by your bill.

Due Date
The deadline for your bill payment. Paying on or before the due date ensures good credit standing.
 

Best Ever MySuper Plan 2499
The name of your postpaid plan. The section below may include personalized greetings and reminders specific to your account.
 

Charges for this Month
A breakdown of your total charges for the billing period.

Monthly Recurring Fee
Covers your monthly plan, recurring add-ons, and applicable rebates.

Monthly Plan
The fixed amount for your subscription plan.

Excess Usage
Charges for any local or international usage beyond your plan's allocated components. Previously referred to as "Usage (Net of Consumables)."

Other Charges
Includes administration fees, one-time subscriptions (e.g., add-ons, boosters, promo fees), and similar charges.

Gadget Cash-out
The cost of the device you availed of. This may be paid in full or in installments, depending on the approved terms.
 

Previous Bill Activity
A summary of your charges, payments, and adjustments from the previous billing period. Previously referred to as "Previous Bill Charges."

Previous Bill Amount
Your total charges from the previous bill. Previously called "Amount Due from Previous Bill."

Remaining Balance (Due Immediately)
The unpaid amount from your past bills, also known as overdue balance. This is collected along with your current billing period’s total charges. Previously referred to as "Remaining Balance from Previous Bill."

Note: Your Remaining Balance only appears if there is an outstanding payment.

Remaining Credit
An excess payment or credited adjustment from your previous bill is carried over to the next bill. In the old bill format, this was indicated by "CR" under "Details of Payments."

Note: Your Remaining Credit only appears if your previous payment exceeded the billed amount or if adjustments were applied.

Amount to Pay
The sum of your total charges for the month and any outstanding balance. Previously called "Total Amount Due."
 

Mobile Number
Your assigned 11-digit mobile number, with the first four digits indicating the network.

Monthly Plan
Includes your plan details and recurring add-ons or re-contracting rewards, if applicable.

Period
The billing cycle’s start and end dates.

Your Plan Includes
The components of your plan, such as packs, combos, add-ons, or consumables.

Peso Value
Applicable to Best Ever MySuper Plan accounts, this value is nearly double your plan amount and is used to purchase plan components.

Add-ons
Subscriptions that auto-renew monthly are charged in addition to your base plan.

Rewards Details
Displays bill rebates for your contracting customers.

Subtotal
Your total amount before VAT.

Add % VAT
The value-added tax is applied to your subtotal.

Total
Your final bill amount, including VAT.

Summary of Excess Usage
Details of your usage for local and international calls, texts, mobile data, roaming, and value-added services that are not part of your plan.

Your Usage
Indicates the actual usage of a service.

Allowance
Your plan's allocation for calls, texts, and mobile data. Calls are shown in minutes, texts in the number of messages, and mobile data in MB or GB.

May indicate "unlimited" if you are subscribed to unlimited services.

Consumable
The unused portion of your fixed monthly plan. Consumables can cover usage for the following basic services:

  • Calls (local, IDD, and NDD)
  • Texts (to Globe/TM, to other networks, international texts)
  • Browsing (local only)
Excludes value-added services (VAS), data roaming, and Share-A-Load.
One consumable = P1.

Value Added Services
These include ringback tones, picture messages, games and game credits, and other downloads and subscriptions you availed of. App store purchases charged to your bill are also included. These are billed on top of your plan.

Total Excess Usage
Total charges for excess usage, including VAT.

Summary of Other Charges
Details of one-time subscriptions, downloads (add-ons/boosters, promo registrations, etc.), and transactional charges (administration fees, etc.).

Subscription and Downloads
Shows the type of one-time subscriptions and downloads you availed of, along with their corresponding fees. These are typically promo registrations (call, text, data, combo, and content) that don’t auto-renew.

One-Time Charges
One-time fees for your service requests, such as pre-termination fees, admin fees, and transfer of ownership fees.

ADD % VAT
The VAT applied to your subscriptions, downloads, and one-time charges.

Total of Other Charges
The sum of subscriptions, downloads, and one-time charges plus VAT.

Gadget and Digital Connector
This section shows any gadget or device you availed of, including the payment method (one-time or installment) and the VAT applied to the payment.

Note: This appears only if you availed of a gadget, device, or digital connector and the payment was charged to your bill.

Total for Gadget and Digital Connector
The sum of the payment for your gadget/device plus tax. This may not apply to Globe Business accounts that are VAT-exempt

Shows the type of reward you availed of and its amount. This may be in the form of recurring bill rebates or a one-time credit, which is deducted from your bill.

Previous Bill Adjustment and Payment
A summary of payments and adjustments from your previous billing period.

Payment Details
Shows when and where your payment was made, when it was credited to your account, and the payment reference number. May also display EWT or FVAT.

EWT (Expanded Withholding Tax) is a type of withholding tax applied to income payments of top 20,000 companies. This tax is creditable against the income tax of the payee for the period in which the income was earned.

FVAT (Final Withholding VAT) is the 5% withholding tax deducted by the government or any of its agencies, including GOCCs. This represents the net VAT payable by Globe to the BIR.

Payment Date
The date on which your payment was made.

Posting Date
The date your payment was credited to your account.

Reference No.
A tracking number assigned by the payment channel when your payment was received.

Amount
The amount you paid.

Adjustment
Reversals and other adjustments, either Globe- or customer-initiated.

Total Adjustment
The total amount of adjustment credited to your account, inclusive of tax.

Remaining Credit
Any excess payment or credited adjustment from your previous bill carried over to your next bill. In the old bill format, this was indicated by "CR" under "Details of Payments."

The Remaining Credit only appears if your previous payment exceeded the billed amount or if adjustments were applied to your account.

Remaining Balance
The unpaid amount from your previous bill(s), also known as overdue balance. This is collected together with your current billing charges. Previously referred to as "Remaining Balance from Previous Bill."

The Remaining Balance only appears if there was a missed or insufficient payment previously.
 

Current Bill Adjustment
Reversals and adjustments that apply to your current billing period.

Add
Additional charges applied to your current bill.

Less
Charges to be deducted from your current bill.
 

 

Prepaid Loading Service
Details of your Share-A-Load transactions, including date, time, load amount, and recipient.
 

Usage Details
Shows the details of your call, text, data, roaming, and value-added service usage.

Free Minutes
The allocation of minutes for your calls, based on your plan or promo. For more details, check "Your plan includes."

Free Messages
The allocation of text messages available for your use, based on your plan or promo. Refer to "Your plan includes" for more details.

Consumable
The portion of your usage that will be charged to the consumable amount.

NDD (National Direct Dialing)
Calls made by your DUO number to a landline outside of your subscription area or to a landline in a different area code.

IDD (International Direct Dialing)
Calls made from your mobile number to international numbers.

Date/Time of IDD
The date and time of your IDD calls shown in Philippine time.

Text Messages
Local and international text messages sent from your mobile number.

Local Data
Total data volume consumed for your browsing.

Browsing Charges (MB)
Data usage charged per MB.

Free Allowance
The allocation of data available for your use based on your plan or promo. For details, check "Your plan includes."

Browsing Charges (time-based)
Data usage charged per minute.

Sub-total Browsing Charges
Total browsing usage, excluding VAT.

Total Local Data
Total browsing usage, including VAT.

Value-Added Services
Usage of services outside basic calls and texts, such as ringback tones, games, game credits, picture messages, and app store purchases.

Total for Value-Added Services
The total sum for your value-added services, including VAT.

Details of International Roaming Charges
This section contains details of your call, text, and mobile data usage while roaming, converted to local currency and excluding taxes.

Telecom Provider
The name of the telecom provider whose services you used while abroad.

Outgoing Voice Call Charges
Details of calls initiated by your mobile number while abroad.

Incoming International Roaming Call
Details of calls accepted by your mobile number while abroad.

Incoming Text Charges
Details of received text messages while abroad.

Outgoing Text Charges
Details of text messages sent while abroad.

Mobile Internet
Details of your mobile internet usage abroad.

Pay Per Use
Mobile internet usage based on your roaming operator's zonal rates when no roaming promos are available in the country visited.

Promo
Roaming promos you subscribed to while abroad, such as RoamSurf 599 or Easy Roam 149.

Total Mobile Internet Charges
Total charges for your mobile data usage while roaming.

Sub-Total Charges of Foreign Service Provider
The sum of all roaming usage, excluding taxes and surcharges.

Surcharge for Roaming Calls
Service fees applied to your roaming calls.

Total Charges of Foreign Service Provider
Total roaming charges with taxes and surcharges. If you used services from multiple providers, charges will be listed separately.

Total Roaming Charges
The sum of all roaming charges, including surcharges and taxes, for services you used from multiple roaming operators during the trip.

Total MRF
The sum of your monthly plan and any add-ons. Does not include VAT. This is the same amount found in the "Sub-total" inside "Plan Summary."

Total Excess Usage
The sum of your excess usage without VAT. This matches the "Sub-total" inside "Summary of Excess Usage."

Total Surcharge
An extra fee applies to all roaming usage except for RoamSURF 599.
Note: This may not always appear in your bill. It only shows up if you use roaming services while abroad.

Total VAT
The total VAT for your excess usage and plan summary.

Total OCT
A tax applied to international services such as IDD, international texts, and iMessage activation fees.
Note: This may not always appear in your bill. This only shows up if you use these services.

Total Amount to Pay
The sum of all these charges: Total MRF, Total Excess Usage, Total Surcharge, Total VAT, and Total OCT.
