This is great! How often will I receive these notifications?
You will receive the notification message right after a call or SMS transaction. Our system will be able to determine if your current load is below the minimum threshold.
Sounds like a great service! But how can it work as "anti-nakaw" load?
It gives you regular instant updates on your load balance and promos. You will be aware about what's happening to your load balance when you engage in the above scenarios without having to text BAL to 222. Because of Loadwatch – malinaw, walang nakaw!
I didn't use my load for calls and texts yet I noticed that it was decreased; why?
You can try to check if you are subscribed to promos without your knowledge.
I received a notification right after the call/text I made. What are these notifications?
You receive these notifications when your current Prepaid balance is below threshold for you to make a call or send a text message. It will also indicate the number of remaining load, expiry date, and time or promo balance you have in your account.
Note that the expiry date and time indicated on the message are based from your last reloading date.
Am I charged for every notification sent to me?
Nope. The Loadwatch service is FREE of charge.
I was able to receive this alert, can I still view the message/s sent to me?
No you can't. Because the alert message won't be saved in your inbox menu and it will disappear once you press exit/end on your phone.
Is there a way to deactivate the Loadwatch notifications?
This is a Globe service enhancement made to keep you well-informed of your load and promo balances. Deactivation is not yet available. We are continuously finding ways to have this option available in the near future.
Are the load/promo balance notifications available for Globe and TM?
Initially, this service is only available to selected Globe Prepaid numbers. Soon, this service will be available for ALL Globe Prepaid customers.
I'll be on roaming within the next few days, will I also be notified?
Yes. But do remember that the service is dependent on the network partner carrier you are using. There might be some partners that can deliver this notification message and some may not due to network limitations.
I see, but will the service be FREE for customers on roaming?
Yes, it is a free service of Globe which will be automatically turned on.
Why am I notified of low or zero load balance even if I didn't do any transaction recently?
These instances may happen depending on the transaction done (i.e. sending of MMS where the system will deduct the amount within 24 hours after the transaction has been made).
Will the free SMS indicated in the load balance alert also include free texts I accumulated thru Globe's promos/rewards?
No. The low load balance notification will not cover your free SMS from promos/rewards. The number of your free texts indicated on the notification is based from your account's main wallet.
Are all phones supported by this service?
As we have tested, most phones are supported by the service. However, there is a possibility that some phones may display garbled alert messages, which is dependent on the handset and not on Globe's service.
Can I request for activation?
Only selected Globe Prepaid customers will receive the notifications for now but don't worry, Loadwatch will be available to all Prepaid customers soon.
