Learning applications included in the content data of SchoolSURF and GoLearn:

  • YouTube, Hangouts, Viber, WhatsApp, FBM, GSuite, Office 365, Wikipedia, Canva, Zoom, CourseHero

  • Canvas and other learning apps like Blackboard, Moodle, and Brightspace will be available soon.

 

Blacklisted sites include:

  • TikTok, Netflix, Hulu, Hooq, Tribe, NBA, Disney, Cartoon Network, Fox+, iFlix, Twitch, iWant, Amazon

    Prime Video, Cinetropa, HBO Go, Viu, Crunchyroll.
     

For SchoolSURF (via Globe at Home App):

  1. Charge your load via the Globe at Home App (charged to mobile load).

  2. Click Go to Dashboard.

  3. Click Get More Data.

  4. Choose a SchoolSURF plan and click Subscribe.

  5. Select a payment option:

  • Charge to Globe/TM mobile number or GCash.

  1. You will receive a text confirmation.

 

Note: SchoolSURF promos will only work with a Home Prepaid WiFi device.

 

For SchoolSURF (via Web browser):

  1. Connect your device to the Home Prepaid WiFi.

  2. Open your web browser and type 192.168.254.254 in the URL.

  3. Send the keyword (e.g., SchoolSURF599) to 8080.

  4. Wait for the successful registration message.

 

For GoLearn and Educ500:

  • Smartphone and Tablet: Register by sending the promo keyword to 8080.

  • Mobile WiFi:

  1. Check your mobile WiFi’s login details behind the battery (IP and Password).

  2. Turn on your mobile WiFi and connect your device (computer, tablet, smartphone).

  3. Open the web browser and enter the IP in the URL bar.

  4. Log in using “admin” as the username and the password.

  5. Go to the SMS tab, click New, and input 8080 as the recipient with the promo keyword.

  6. Click Send and wait for the confirmation text message.

 

To avail of SchoolSURF & GoLearn/Educ500 promos:

  1. Fill out the Registration Form.

  2. Within 3 days, you will receive a text and email notification on the successful activation of your Prepaid WiFi and/or Mobile Prepaid number.

Here’s how to do so:

  1. Open your GCash App.

  2. Tap Buy Load.

  3. Input your Prepaid Number.

  4. Go to the Regular tab and enter the amount of prepaid load.

  5. Proceed with payment.

  6. Wait for confirmation.

EnterpriseSURF150 is a tack-on promo for an open data access wallet (no site restriction) that can be registered only after subscribing to a main promo like SchoolSURF.

  • There is no active notification, but you will receive an SMS when you’ve consumed 80% and 100% of your data allowance.

  • To check manually, log into your device’s GUI by entering the IP in your browser, then visit the Device SMS tab.

  • For SchoolSURF, check your remaining data in the Globe At Home App.

  • For GoLearn/Educ500, an SMS will notify you when the data usage reaches 80% and 100%. For mobile WiFi, access the GUI via a browser to check.

  • Yes, there is no limit on the number of registrations. Multiple subscriptions will stack, provided they are done before the current promo expires. Data allocations will combine based on the longest validity.

  • EnterpriseSURF150 does not stack with SchoolSURF as it has a separate open-access wallet.

SchoolSURF and EnterpriseSURF are exclusive to Globe Prepaid WiFi modems equipped with Globe Business Corporate SIMs. These promos will not work on mobile phones or any device other than the Globe Prepaid WiFi modem.

  • SchoolSURF, GoLearn, and Educ500 use the Globe LTE network, which has a theoretical maximum bandwidth of 42 Mbps.

  • There is no guaranteed bandwidth due to various factors like geography, signal strength, and number of concurrent users.
