Frequently Asked Questions on Device Warranty 

All devices purchased from Globe come with a limited one-year warranty provided by the manufacturer, effective from the date of purchase. Any returns or repairs must be conducted through the authorized service centers of the respective manufacturers.
Replacement of the device will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms. You may visit the nearest authorized service center of the manufacturer, which you can find in the list below:

The warranty covers handsets with factory defects, which include but are not limited to:
 
  • Touchscreen malfunction
  • Distorted display
  • Bloated battery
The manufacturer's device warranty policy, however, does not cover cosmetic defects, mishandling, or misuse.

The owner of the Globe-provided handset can start the claim.

The repair or replacement of a defective phone will depend on the manufacturer’s warranty policy and must be claimed at an authorized service center. To process your claim, please bring your proof of purchase, complete handset package including accessories, and a valid ID.
 

Upon arrival at the accredited service center, you should present the following

  • If you purchased it from a Globe store, 
    • Bring the official receipt or delivery receipt (If the handset is free) 
  • If you purchased it from the Globe Online Shop using
    • Cash-On-Delivery: Bring the acknowledgment receipt
    • Charge-to-Bill/other modes of payment: Bring the delivery receipt
       

To know if the malfunction is due to a defective handset, you may perform the basic troubleshooting steps below.

  • Soft reset: Turn off your phone, then turn it on again after a couple of minutes.
  • Hard reset: Turn off your phone and remove the SIM, then place it back. Turn your phone on again.
  • SIM and phone swapping: Transfer the SIM into a different phone to check if it works.
If none of these work, that means the problem is due to a defective handset.

You may visit the manufacturer's nearest service center for repairs. Please note that this may incur a fee as the device is already outside the warranty period.

You may visit or call the service center where you brought your phone for repair.

Yes, as long as the handset is within 12 months of the activation date/purchase date, and you can present the complete documents.
