Gogoro and BYD E-vehicles Up for Grabs
In celebration of G Day, Globe is giving customers a chance to drive to the new era of mobility, as it gives customers the opportunity to experience sustainable transport by raffling off electric vehicles as top prizes in this year’s G Chance the Raffle.
Globe is giving away three Gogoro Smartscooters and one BYD Dolphin Pure EV in this year’s G Chance the Raffle as part of the G Day celebration, its annual thanksgiving program for customers.
This is the first time for Globe to include e-vehicles among prizes in its biggest yearly raffle, as it concretizes its stance in making climate tech solutions available to the public, with the announcement early this year of Gogoro Smartscooters to be available in the Philippines by the end of the year.

Gogoro Smartscooters® are powered through GoStations® where users can conveniently swap depleted batteries for fully-charged ones in as quick as just six seconds. Globe’s 917Ventures, the Ayala Corporation, and Gogoro Taiwan partnered to bring the clean transport system to the Philippines this year, with its commercial launch set in Q4 2023.
BYD Dolphin Pure EV, distributed by AC Motors under Globe principal Ayala Corporation with its key dealer network, is a 5-seater electric vehicle that runs on a 70-kW electric motor with 180 nm torque, powered by an ultra-safe 44.9-kWh Lithium-ion Iron Phosphate battery. With a 400-km range, the stylish compact hatchback can comfortably handle out-of-town trips with no noise nor vibrations, zero emissions, and world-class safety.
