Globe and Disney Bring The Mandalorian Experience to Filipino Students: A Celebration of Courage, Connection, and Community

Globe, in partnership with Disney, is creating a pop‑culture experience designed to inspire Filipino students through the beloved story of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. Globe has been a long-time partner of Disney in the Philippines. This new collaboration highlights the values of connection, empowerment, and community‑building, reminding students that true strength and heroic purpose come from the family and the communities we build together.

 

Students from Cabanatuan City, Quezon City, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao were treated to free block screenings of The Mandalorian and Grogu, directly invited by their schools and student organizations. The event gave young audiences a chance to immerse themselves in the Star Wars universe while connecting with fellow student leaders and participating in engaging activities.

 

Adding to the excitement, students had the chance to win exclusive merchandise through raffles, while also discovering how Globe Rewards can support their everyday needs. Special student offers included affordable treats and essentials such as beep™ card load, snacks and drinks, free Timezone load, and access to Disney+ plans through Globe.

Beyond entertainment, Globe highlighted the Globe Student Program, encouraging student organizations to submit proposals for their next big idea. Selected projects may receive support from Globe, empowering students to fuel their dreams and create meaningful impact within their schools and communities.
