A movie is always a good idea, but watching it with fellow students who share the same excitement makes it even better.
That’s exactly what happened when Globe and Disney brought student leaders together for simultaneous Toy Story 5 screenings in Bonifacio Global City, Clark, Dasmariñas, and Cebu City. The nationwide event turned an afternoon at the movies into a celebration of friendship, nostalgia, and community, giving students plenty of reasons to smile beyond the end credits.
1. It was a chance to relive a childhood favorite together.

For many students, Toy Story has been part of their lives for years. Watching Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang return to the big screen brought back familiar memories while creating new ones alongside fellow fans.
The screenings became a shared experience that reminded everyone why stories about friendship, loyalty, and growing up continue to resonate across generations.
2. Students met fellow campus leaders beyond their own schools.
The event welcomed student organization officers and youth leaders from different colleges and universities, creating opportunities to connect with peers who share the same passion for making a difference in their communities.
Conversations started in cinema lobbies, continued over snacks, and often ended with new social media connections and ideas for future collaborations.
3. There were fun surprises beyond the movie.
The excitement didn't stop when the credits rolled. Students enjoyed raffle activities featuring exclusive merchandise and discovered Globe Rewards offers available through the GlobeOne app.
From beep™ card load and coffee credits to food and beverage rewards and free Timezone load, attendees explored everyday perks that fit student life both on and off campus.
4. Students discovered opportunities to turn ideas into action.

Beyond the entertainment, Globe introduced attendees to the Globe Student Program, which gives campus organizations the opportunity to pitch initiatives that address real needs within their schools and communities.
The program supports students who want to transform ideas into projects with meaningful impact, giving young leaders access to opportunities, resources, and a wider network.
"The stories we remember most are often the ones we experience together. Through moments like these, we hope students not only enjoy a film they grew up with but also discover new friendships, new communities, and opportunities to create positive impact together," said Roche Vandenberghe, Chief Marketing Officer at Globe.
5. It proved that the best movie experiences don't end when the lights come back on.
The biggest takeaway wasn't just seeing Toy Story 5 on the big screen. It was discovering that a movie can spark conversations, build friendships, and inspire students to dream a little bigger together.
By bringing together entertainment, technology, and community, Globe continues to create experiences that help students connect, celebrate shared interests, and find opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
