Globe Telecom earned its first-ever Great Place to Work® Certification, a recognition that affirms its standing among globally trusted organizations for workplace excellence.

85% of Globe employees say it is a great place to work, scoring 20% higher than the industry average (GPTW survey). Echoing this, the 2025 iSpeak survey, with a 95% response rate, showed a 91% sustainable engagement score, on par with the Philippine National Norm and above the Global High Performance Norm. This reflects the deep connection of Ka-Globe to the company, built on rational, emotional, and behavioral commitment.

Unlike traditional awards, this certification is especially meaningful because it comes directly from employee voices. Globe employees shared that they are treated fairly regardless of gender and sexual orientation, are proud to tell others they work at Globe, and are fulfilled by the way they contribute to the community.

More than the distinction, the achievement highlights Globe’s cultural transformation, from being known primarily as the Philippines’ leading telco to now being recognized as a people-first company that champions care, inclusion, and innovation. These sentiments bring to life Globe’s Employee Value Proposition, Create Everyday Possibilities, which is built on the pillars of Celebrate Your Best Self, Lead Beyond the Ordinary, and Innovate Without Fear. Together, these guide the company’s commitment to fostering an environment where employees can thrive while creating impact for customers and communities.

“What makes this recognition truly meaningful is that it comes directly from our people,” said Renato Manuel Jiao, Chief Human Resource Officer at Globe. “It reflects the culture we’ve built, one that embraces diversity, supports growth, and empowers Ka-Globes to contribute with purpose. This milestone inspires us to continue investing in programs that create everyday possibilities for all.”

Beyond strengthening Globe’s employer brand in the Philippines and Asia, the certification fuels pride and belonging across the organization. It also affirms the maturity of Globe’s people-first initiatives, from hybrid work and mobility to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) programs, now benchmarked against world-class standards.

Globe’s Great Place to Work® Certification marks a new era in its journey: one where being a leader in technology goes hand-in-hand with being a leader in workplace culture.
