Alfonso, Cavite — Employees of 917Ventures recently took part in a full-day volunteer initiative at Biyaya Animal Sanctuary, a rescue facility caring for over 1,600 dogs and cats that are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. The activity provided a direct opportunity for employees to contribute to animal welfare while learning about the day-to-day challenges of running a rescue organization.
Volunteers engaged in hands-on tasks such as preparing meals, maintaining shelter facilities, assisting with operations, and providing administrative support. Orientation and immersion tours also helped employees gain a deeper understanding of the sanctuary’s mission and programs.
