Globe is extending relief assistance to 700 families affected by the Southwest Monsoon in Pampanga, Bulacan and Bataan, as communities continue to recover from its impact. The company had earlier provided Alagang Globe assistance to affected customers and has since fully restored mobile and broadband services disrupted by the monsoon.
In partnership with Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI), Globe is providing relief assistance to families in Masantol, Macabebe, Apalit and Candaba in Pampanga; Calumpit in Bulacan; and Hermosa and Dinalupihan in Bataan. The relief operations bring additional assistance to communities as recovery efforts continue.
Globe has also restored 100% of mobile and broadband services following disruptions caused by the Southwest Monsoon. Mobile services were affected across nine municipalities in NCR and two municipalities in Rizal, while broadband outages were reported across seven municipalities and cities in NCR.
Continuing Alagang Globe Assistance
Globe continues to provide Alagang Globe assistance to affected customers in Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet and Mountain Province. Globe Prepaid and TM customers in these areas can access free unlimited calls and texts to all networks, 100 MB of open-access data, and an additional 100 MB for Facebook, Viber and other apps, valid for one day, while Globe Postpaid customers are given extended payment due dates.
For broadband customers, eligible Globe AT HOME Prepaid WiFi users can receive 5 GB of free open-access data valid for three days, while GFiber Prepaid customers are given a three-day promo extension. GFiber Postpaid customers can receive 15 GB of free data valid for 15 days, along with extended payment due dates.
Customers who wish to help affected communities may donate their Globe Rewards points to Ayala Foundation through the GlobeOne app. Donations may also be made to Ayala Foundation through GCash, as Globe continues to work with partners and local communities to provide assistance where it is needed and support ongoing recovery efforts.
