Globe continues to invest in the next generation of talent, helping students to develop the skills, confidence, and perspective they need to thrive in a digital future. Through the 2026 Globe Pathfinder Program (GPP) under the Ayala Group Summer Internship Program (AGSIP), the company is expanding opportunities for young Filipinos to gain valuable industry exposure, leadership experience, and future-ready skills. This year, Globe welcomed 40 AGSIP interns, significantly growing its annual internship cohort as part of its strengthened commitment to student and youth development.
The three-month program, which runs from June to September, gives interns an experience connecting classroom learning to real-world case studies and business challenges. Designed to help students transition from the academe to the workplace, GPP combines leadership development, digital capability building, and community engagement in one structured learning journey.

The program kicked off at the Globe Tower with a series of immersive learning experiences designed to maximize the internship journey. Through ‘Own Your Impact’, interns defined their personal development goals while strengthening customer-centric thinking and problem-solving capabilities. The Leader's Circle equipped participants with practical skills to enhance productivity via AI, build their digital presence and personal brand, and develop foundational data literacy. Complementing these sessions, the Digital Thumbprint Ambassadorship Program empowered interns to become advocates of responsible digital citizenship and online safety within their schools and communities.
Beyond developing future-ready skills, interns will also participate in social responsibility initiatives with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), reinforcing Globe's belief that technology creates greater impact when guided by empathy, inclusion, and concrete service to communities.
"Meaningful careers begin with meaningful opportunities to learn and grow," said Renato "Ato" Jiao, Globe’s Chief Human Resource Officer. "Through the Globe Pathfinder Program, we are giving students opportunities to build digital skills, strengthen their leadership potential, and gain meaningful workplace experience. We hope they leave the program more confident, more capable, and ready to create value wherever their careers take them."
The internship will culminate on September 17 during Globe's signature 917 GDay, where interns will work alongside Globe teams in delivering one of the company's flagship customer engagement events. Embedded across cross-functional teams, they will gain firsthand experience in collaboration, customer engagement, and the execution of a large-scale, customer-centric event or program, bringing together the skills, mindset, and experiences they have developed throughout the entire learning journey.

"The future belongs to people who are willing to learn, adapt, and create value for others," said Globe’s Chief Marketing Officer KD Dizon during the kickoff. "Through the Globe Pathfinder Program, we want students to gain more than workplace experience. We want them to leave with the confidence, digital skills, and sense of purpose that will help them create meaningful impact wherever their careers take them."
The Globe Pathfinder Program is part of the bigger Globe Student Program, which equips students with industry exposure, leadership opportunities, and emerging digital skills through internships, innovation platforms, and learning initiatives. This complements Globe's broader efforts to build digital readiness among Filipino youth through programs such as the Digital Thumbprint Program, which has reached more than 2 million students and educators, trained over 115,000 teachers, and partnered with more than 4,100 schools nationwide.
Reflecting on the experience, Dylan Raon, Marketing Analytics intern, said the program has given participants a clearer understanding of how classroom learning translates into the workplace. "Being part of the Globe Pathfinder Program has shown me how I can apply what I've learned in school to real-world challenges. Learning from Globe leaders and working alongside different teams has inspired me to keep growing, contribute with confidence, and pursue a career where I can make a meaningful impact," he said.
