Globe Provides Free Call, Text, Charging, and WiFi in Storm-Hit Areas
Urges Donations for Affected Communities
Globe has sent communications support to communities affected by recent storms that hit the country.
Globe customers affected by Typhoons Nika and Ofel in Cagayan, Isabela, and Quirino, received the following connectivity support:
For Globe Prepaid and TM customers, Globe provided free UNLI calls and texts to all networks, free 100 MB of data for internet surfing and other apps, and free 100 MB for Facebook, Viber, and more, valid for one day.
Globe AT HOME Prepaid WiFi users, meanwhile, got free 5 GB open access data that they may use for three days. Globe GFiber Prepaid users were given three days of promo extension.
Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid customers were granted extended payment due dates, giving them some reprieve while reeling from the impact of the storm.
Globe is also set to deploy Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng Text booths in severely-hit Catanduanes from November 21 to 23, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Restoration After ‘Pepito’
Globe has also started restoration efforts in provinces affected by network disruptions mostly due to commercial power outages.
As of Monday, Globe has fully restored services in Sorsogon, Masbate, and Albay. Restoration efforts continue in some affected sites in other parts of Bicol and provinces across Northern and Central Luzon.
