What We Know So Far About Head in the Clouds Manila

The international music and arts festival by 88rising is making its Manila debut

Head in the Clouds Festival is headed to Southeast Asia. Since its kickoff in 2018, the music and arts festival by 88rising had always planted its roots in the US. 2022, however, takes its lineup to Jakarta and Manila for the very first time.

On December 9 and 10, 2022, Head in the Clouds Manila takes over the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque City for a two-day fete presented by Globe featuring music, food, and awesome booths where fans can get their hands on merch. Details are still largely kept under wraps but one thing’s for sure: Manila is up for an experience of a lifetime.

If last year’s run is any indication, what’s been dubbed the “Asian Coachella” is set to give fans a great way to cap off music in 2022. The 2021 leg brought together Saweetie, Japanese Breakfast, CL, keshi, Joji, BIBI, Niki Beabadoobee, Umi, The Linda Lindas, and Rich Brian, just to name a few. This year is looking just as massive, with Head in the Clouds Los Angeles kicking off festival season with Jackson Wang, NIKI, Chung Ha, Raveena, Boylife, Stephanie Poetri, Ylona Garcia, and so much more. In the Philippines, 88rising’s local chapter PARADISE RISING is expected to shine, with international acts flying in from across the globe.

Tickets are already available online on SM Tickets, where the “Trust Us” sale is ongoing ahead of the lineup reveal. Get VIP two-day passes for ₱12,888 and general admission two-day passes for ₱9,888. These passes are available for a limited time only. The official lineup is expected to be posted in September.
