How can I add members to the shareable capability?

All FamSURF promos are shareable to any TM, Globe Prepaid, Globe MyFi, Globe Postpaid or Globe Platinum! Pwede mag pasa ng data  any time from modem to phone.

  1. In the new GlobeOne app, go to GROUP DATA to add members.
  2. Input the name and number of the preferred member
  3. Choose the preferred data limit for your added member

Is there a maximum number of members that I can enroll in my FamSURF promo?

Yes. As the FamSURF owner, you can only enroll up to 3 other members from TM, Globe Prepaid, Globe MyFi, Globe Postpaid, Globe Platinum, or Home Prepaid WiFi.

What is a FamSURF Owner and Member?

FamSURF Owner is the customer that registered and paid for the FamSURF promo. The owner can:

  1. Add and remove members who can share in the FamSURF data allocation.
  2. Set data limit for FamSURF members.
  3. View and track data usage of all FamSURF members.
  4. Stop the subscription from the FamSURF promo via the new GlobeOne app.

FamSURF Member is added by the FamSURF Owner so that he can have a share in the promo's data allocation. The member has the ability to:

  1. View promo validity
  2. Leave the FamSURF group

All promo modification activities will be done via the new GlobeOne app

As a member of a FamSURF promo, how will I be able to view my usage?

Members are proactively notified about their usage through the threshold notifications sent via SMS. A member will receive a message once they reach 80% and full exhaustion of the set data limit. Note that this is only applicable if the promo owner sets a data limit to each member.

Can I register to FamSURF and to other prepaid promos at a given time?

Yes, you can still use FamSURF together with your favorite data promos. Take note that your FamSURF data wallet will be consumed first before the data wallets of your other promos.

What happens when I register for another FamSURF offer while my other FamSURF promo is still active and valid?

Your existing data from your FamSURF promo will be combined with your new FamSURF promo data resulting in a bigger data and longer validity.

Your group members will still be there and the set data limits will follow the settings of your previous registration. You may increase the data limit settings of your group by going to the Manage Group Data section of the new GlobeOne app.

Will GoSurf50 and Surf4All promos still be available?

Yes, GoSurf50 Surf4All promos are still available and can be availed by Home Prepaid WiFi subscribers.

How do I check my remaining data on FamSURF?

To check your remaining data, simply go to the New GlobeOne app.

Can I register FamSURF using my mobile device?

No. FamSURF promos are exclusive to Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi and Globe MyFi. Please ensure you are using the product properly as FamSURF promos will not work with mobile phones or any other device other than a Home Prepaid WiFi modem or a MyFi device.

However, TM, Globe Prepaid, Globe MyFi, Globe Postpaid, and Globe Platinum customers can have access to the shareable capability of a FamSURF promo if an owner added their number as a member from the New GlobeOne App.

What happens after I use up my MB allocation?

Your succeeding internet connections will be charged the regular browsing rate (P5 for 15 minutes or P2/MB) unless you register again for a data promo.

I don't want to use FamSURF. Can I turn it off or unsubscribe?

Yes. You may unsubscribe by texting FamSURF STOP and send to 8080. Please note that the action will deactivate the promo, including freebies.

Can I get the same offer from other channels?

Yes. This promotion is available in all channels such as the New GlobeOne App, Gcash, Suking Tindahan, Lazada, Shopee, Grabe and more!

What are the content partner pillars I can choose from?

You can get data freebies to watch, learn, and earn apps such as HBO GO, Youtube, Netflix, G Suite, Zoom, Messenger, Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and League of Legends: Wild Rift.

My GB allocation already ran out but I still have validity left in my FamSURF. Will I still get the free GB Daily?

No. The free GB is offered in bulk.

How will I know if I still have remaining data left for my Watch, Chat, Learn and Earn Apps?

To check your remaining data, simply go to the New GlobeOne app Dashboard.

How will I know if my FamSURF promo has expired?

Both promo owner and member will receive pre-expiry and expiry notifications via SMS.

What will be the data usage hierarchy between FamSURF and my other data promos?

Hierarchy will be as follows:

  1. FamSURF Freebie Allocation
  2. HomeSURF Freebie Allocation
  3. FamSURF/Surf4ALL Base data
  4. HomeSURF Base data

What happens when members have reached their allocated limit?

A member's usage in FamSURF will stop. Members who have reached their allocation limit  will receive a text notification  and the succeeding data usage will be deducted in the next available promo. If there is no other active data promo, the pay-per-use rate will apply.

Can a subscriber be a FamSURF owner and a member of a different FamSURF group at the same time?

Yes. A FamSURF owner can also be a member of another active FamSURF promo, and vice versa. However, a customer cannot be a member of more than one FamSURF group at a given time.

As a FamSURF member, how come I was not able to fully use up the data limit set to me?

Note that FamSURF is a shared data pool that the owner and members can simultaneously use; it is not giving exact GBs to members that they can use for themselves. An owner can set data limits to control or cap the use of each member from the data pool, but it does not mean that the data limit is a fixed allocation to a member. Thus, it is possible for the GB to be fully exhausted by the owner or a member with no data limit that is a heavy data user.

Can I still change the set data limits of my FamSURF promo?

Yes, you can. As long as your promo is still valid and your remaining data allowance can accommodate the changes. Keep in mind that changing the previously set data limits does not mean resetting your members’ previous consumption back to zero.
