Frequently Asked Questions on Convenience Fee for Bills Payment

To cover rising payment processing costs, some banks, credit cards, and payment centers now apply a minimal fee for bill payments and GCash load or promo transactions.

All of our partners will be charging a convenience fee. Our first batch of partners will be:

The following prepaid and merchandise transactions are exempt from the convenience fee:

  • Globe Fiber Prepaid one-time fee: ₱1,499
  • Globe Fiber Prepaid repair fee: ₱500
  • In-store or online merchandise purchases
  • Prepaid kit or Home Prepaid WiFi purchases

Customers paying their monthly postpaid bills or buying load or promos (via the GCash app) through participating payment partners will incur a convenience fee.

Yes, for now! Payments made via the GlobeOne app remain free across all payment methods. However, a convenience fee may apply in the future—stay tuned for updates.
