Frequently Asked Questions on eSIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM that is built into some mobile phones. It lets you activate a mobile plan without using a physical nano SIM card.
A physical nano SIM is removable. Meanwhile, an eSIM is embedded in your device and ready to activate. You can store multiple profiles and switch between them, depending on your device.
Devices that support eSIM already have the SIM built into the device.
If you are a Globe Postpaid customer and ordered an eSIM-capable device from Globe, you can activate your eSIM starting December 27, 2018. Go to a Globe store or use the Globe Online Shop (for new postpaid applications only) to get help with activation.
eSIM is now available for Globe Postpaid and Globe Prepaid customers. But, Globe is working to make eSIM available for TM customers soon. For more details about Globe Prepaid Local eSIM, go to this link.
