How do I know that the rate is already effective once I‘m on data roaming?
You'll know the promo is already active upon your first data usage because you’ll receive a notification to signify that the promo has started. You'll also receive pre-expiry notifications before the end of your GoRoam validity. Lastly, you’ll receive a final notification that your promo is already expired.
Postpaid customers who keep their data roaming on after their GoRoam expires and don’t register to the same or a different promo will be charged the default rate of P399/24 hours.
On the other hand, prepaid customers won’t be able to browse without any data roaming promo.
What happens if I travel with GoRoam to two countries within the promo validity period?
GoRoam offers are country-specific and can only be used when you’re connected to the partner networks available in your destination country. The GoRoam offer you registered to won’t work if you move to a different country.
Will there be any restrictions on my browsing if I use GoRoam?
Subscription to these offers allow you to enjoy unrestricted access to your favorite apps or enjoy a complete digital experience even while abroad! Your internet access is not limited to just liking and sharing, you can also enjoy music, video streaming and even file sharing as long as your offer is still valid.
However, if you opt in to other app-based data offers, your usage will be restricted to the chosen app.
Can I avail of other promos when I’m subscribed to a GRoam offer?
No, you can’t since your GoRoam registration already gives you unrestricted access to data while your promo is valid. You also can’t stack the same GoRoam offer on top of the other, unless you're subscribing to another GoRoam offer that's intended for a different country.
What’s the difference between GoRoam and Roam Surf offers?
Unlike the regular Roam Surf offers that can be used in different destinations abroad and cross-country trips, GoRoam promos only work in a specific country. Each GoRoam offer also has its own allocation, validity and price.
