The All-New Roam Surf Global Packs can be used in Roam Surf partner countries in over 100+ destinations, making it perfect for cross-country trips.
- Can I pre-register for the All-New Roam Surf Global Packs?
Yes, you can register either on GlobeOne or GCash, for Prepaid and TM, once you’re abroad. You may also register for these new offers up to a year in advance on GlobeOne.
- How will I know if the All-New Roam Surf Global Packs is activated when data roaming is enabled?
Once you’ve registered for a roaming promo, you can turn ON your mobile data and data roaming to activate it abroad.
You'll receive a notification upon first data usage to signify the beginning of the All-new Roam Surf global pack. You'll also receive pre-expiry notifications before it ends and a final notification when it has expired.
For postpaid: If you keep your data roaming on and don't register for any promo, the default P399/24-hour rate will take effect automatically.
For prepaid: You'll be able to browse only when you register for a data roaming promo.
As a reminder to avoid unwanted roaming charges, please turn OFF your mobile data and data roaming before traveling.
- What happens if I travel to two countries with an All-New Roam Surf Global Pack within the promo validity period?
You'll be able to use All-new Roam Surf Global Packs in multiple destinations as long as they are Roam Surf partners, which makes it perfect for cross-country trips.
- Will the All-New Roam Surf Global Packs be charged within or on top of my consumables?
Like other roaming promos, the All-New Roam Surf offers are charged on top and can't be charged to the consumable allowance of your Platinum plan.
- Will there be any restrictions on my browsing if I use the All-New Roam Surf promos?
Subscription to these offers allows you unrestricted access to your favorite apps or enjoy a complete digital experience abroad! Your internet access is not limited to liking and sharing, and you can also enjoy music, video streaming, and even file sharing as long as the All-new Roam Surf global pack is still valid. However, if you register for other app-based data offers, your usage will be restricted to the chosen app.
- Can I avail of other all-access apps while I’m subscribed to an All-New Roam Surf offer?
No, you can’t since your registration already gives you unrestricted access to data during the promo validity period.
- What’s the difference between regular GoRoam and All-New Roam Surf offers?
Unlike the regular Roam Surf offers that work across different destinations abroad and in cross-country trips, GoRoam promos are country-specific and have their own data allowance, validity, and price.
- Will my existing Roam Surf promo be affected if I register for the All-new Roam Surf Global Packs?
No, the existing active Roam Surf promo will not be affected. You may still use the promo until it expires, after which you can register for the All-New Roam Surf Global Packs.
