Payment Due Date Extension During the ECQ

What is Globe’s payment due date extension?

Globe’s due date extension aimed to help customers who may not be able to pay their bills on time due to the imposition of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).  From March 15, Globe extended the billing due dates to April 15 for all Postpaid Mobile and Globe At Home customers, including business and enterprise customers.

With the extension of the ECQ to May 15, due dates were also extended to May 15. Bill cycles whose payment due dates fell before May 15 have been extended to May 15, while the due dates of all the other bill cycles will follow the extended dates stated in the bill.

With this, Globe customers were given up to 60 days of bill payment extension equivalent to two months of unpaid bills.

Will I have to pay for 2 months’ worth of bills on my next due date?

Some customers may receive a billing statement which will reflect at least two months’ worth of unpaid bills and that will be due this May.

Are late payment fees for Globe At Home accounts waived during the due date extension period?

Late payment fees and reconnection fees were waived from March 15 to May 15, 2020. Actual late payment fees which have appeared on bills were proactively adjusted and the adjustment will reflect within the next two bills.

What happened to my auto-debit arrangement during the ECQ?

In response to the ECQ declaration last March 16, your auto-debit collection schedule also follows the extended due dates.

For some accounts that are being billed for two months - March and April - charging will resume on May 15 onwards.

If I'm unable to pay my bill after the extended due date, how long before my line gets disconnected?

Regular collection timelines will resume after May 15.  Be assured that text/email reminders will be sent before any disconnection takes effect.
