Frequently Asked Questions on Mobile Postpaid Plan Change

You can easily update your Globe postpaid plan through the GlobeOne app:

  1. Open the GlobeOne app and select your mobile number on the landing page.
  2. Scroll down and tap on your current postpaid plan name.
  3. Click Update My Plan and choose your preferred postpaid plan.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Types of Plan Changes:

  • Lateral Change – Switch to the latest plan while keeping the same monthly recurring fee (MRF).
  • Upgrade – Move to a higher monthly plan with more inclusions.
  • Downgrade – Shift to a lower monthly plan (subject to eligibility and fees).

Note: Changing your plan is different from plan renewal, which extends your postpaid contract.

You can change your plan anytime if you're already out of contract, and the new plan will take effect on your next bill cycle.

Your next bill will reflect the following charges:

  • Prorated charges for your previous plan (amount already paid in your last bill).
  • Prorated charges for your new plan (covering the transition period).
  • Advance charge for the new plan’s monthly recurring fee (MRF).

For customers shifting from an All-Unli or All-New mySuperPlan (which doesn’t include an advance MRF charge), the first bill under the new plan will show:

  • Prorated charges for the new plan.
  • Advance MRF for the new plan.

You can only change to the new plan as long as you’re getting the same amount or upgrading to a higher plan. If you’re moving to a plan with a lower plan commitment, you’ll be charged with a corresponding pre-termination fee.
