What is Globe Gadget Care?

Globe Gadget Care is a service that offers hassle-free device replacement in case of accidental damage or theft claim, at affordable premium rates.

Effective March 1, 2020, Comprehensive Gadget Care coverage is available to Consumer Globe Postpaid customers with new gadgets issued for:

  • New line applications
  • Plan renewal

Comprehensive coverage offers protection against accidental damage and theft benefits with Bill Protect rider.

As a customer, is there real value in subscribing to the Globe Gadget Care program?

Globe has exclusively provided you this protection service under reasonable monthly rates and PF (participation fees). The monthly premium and settlement charges are actually lower than what you need to pay to replace your phone if it got stolen or damaged.

As an example: If your handset has a Globe Gadget Care monthly premium fee of P399 and it got stolen after 4 months of coverage, this will be the overall expense that you’ll incur:

What kinds of damages are covered by Gadget Care?

Any accidental damage that will render your device to malfunction or to be unusable is covered such as, but not limited to: damage caused by water, cracked screen and damaged key pads.

I am a Prepaid customer, can I avail of Gadget Care?

Gadget Care can only be availed by postpaid plan customers.

I need to make a claim. What should I do?

Here's what you need to do.

STEP 1: Report the incident immediately or within seven (7) days of discovery at:

STEP 2: Next, download the Gadget Care Claim Form and fill it out completely.

STEP 3: When completed, submit the required documents via [email protected] to start claims processing.

Upon submission of your complete documents, a Claims Decision Letter will be sent to your email within 15 working days. Information about the next steps will also be provided in the same email.

How long will it take for my claim to be processed?

How long does it take to get my replacement device?

Provided that your claim has been approved,
    For NCR: Your replacement device will be delivered to the preferred delivery address within the next working day after payment is made.
    For Provincial: Within three (3) working days.

Please note that the time may vary depending on device availability, your area of delivery, and your availability to receive the replacement device.
