You can check your phone's specifications on the manufacturer's website or in your phone's settings under "Mobile Networks" or "Preferred Network Type." Look for "5G" in the options.
You can check by texting SIM CHECK to 8080. You can also confirm it by checking if:
- Your phone shows LTE/5G in the signal bars.
- Your SIM card has 128K memory.
You'll typically see a "5G" icon appear next to your signal bars on your 5G-capable device when you're within a 5G coverage area.
If you move to an area without 5G coverage, your device will automatically switch to the available 4G/LTE network, and your 4G/LTE data will be consumed.
You can easily monitor your data usage and promo validity via the GlobeOne app. Simply log in and view your dashboard. You can text DATA BAL to 8080.
No, your data use stays the same unless your device or apps switch to higher-quality settings due to faster speeds, which can increase usage.
